incomprehensible to me... why would a tournament game be blind pick?!

I thought that was a bad joke.... is that actually the format?! that's insane, I was hoping for a good match ;_;

Haunting Guise giving 8% movement speed is rather interesting, and the Ryze "nerfs" seem to be huge buffs instead. Shen ult getting nerfed makes him very boring and likely won't be played much. Let's see how it rolls out.
Edit: Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait blind pick to determine winner between MiG Frost and Najin? Why would you do that in a tournament game...
Edit 2: And we have triple mirrors, why would you do this...

So confused about Ryze changes. Losing flat bonus mana, Q pretty bad nerf (AP ratio buffs nonwithstanding), W straight up nerfs aside from tiny mana buffs, E buff but barely, but I don't know how much it will actually affect him? He'll still become tanky as hell with his general item build, and probably still put out damage really well. It's just confusing, he wasn't overbearingly strong to begin with, imo. No need for these changes.

Olaf vs Olaf, Ryze vs Ryze, Urgot vs Urgot. Sigh pro player blind pick.
|
Actually if it's 1-1 a blind pick will let you play your best champion, it also lets us see which champs are really really good compared to the rest(lolmirrors). It's also somewhat of a my x champ is better than your x champ. Only problem is getting blindly counterpicked @ toplane.

Hahaha this is actually very entertaining to watch. I cant' really take it seriously, but its funny at least.

Had to do a double take seeing Two urgots I couldn't quite wrap my head around it as I tuned in. I..that's awesomely funny but really shouldn't be here thing but to see such a thing happen is truely awesome. Entirely wrong but awesome.
Also Shen players don't panic his ult is unchanged, as always the beta servers are not always likely to be real. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2058443

Is it actually possible to beat the heal cheese comp?
Trist (heal), Soraka (w, ult, heal), Lulu (ult), Voli (passive, heal), Vayne
Like we focus lulu and she drops, but the whole time vayne has been wailing away. Voli gets slightly low and passive kicks in then we get aced.
To be fair we only had one ignite but I wouldn't trust 4 other randoms not to ignite someone whos already ignited anyway.

3 mirrors so confusing @_@

Right side of the screen during that last fight: Ryze killing Urgot, Ryze killing urgot, Ryze killing Ryze...
Brings me back to when I just started playing LoL, everyone on lvl 1 accounts playing the free champions, mirror lanes every other game :D
Edit: Btw i just tuned in, how did mid and bot go? Seeing as they are mirrors, and not the most skill dependant ones at that (hard for one ryze/olaf to outplay the other one if they are behind in levels and/or items), they should have snowballed pretty heavily if one of the players got an anvantage?

Loco was behind because alis was roaming, all I know about their bot.

The heal comp is about burst healing a squishy target (or any target really). I'm guessing that if you can sustain past the initial long cd heals you can win. Or urgot swap onto a turret. Didn't CLG beat dignitas heal comp in the loser bracket?

I dunno, it always feels like when Ryze gets to late game there's just no killing him. I actually really like the changes. The flat mana gain always felt really small to me, and the buff in the AP ratios actually make void staff and WotA more effective. The movespeed on your ultimate that's pretty much always up is also really cool. He feels stronger if anything.. We'll just have to see if/when these changes make it out.

I've seen it said several times that the problem with blue buff is that it makes itemizing for CDR or mana regen mostly a waste of time. What do you guys think about making some or all of blue buff's mana regen scale with your existing mana regen instead of max mana?.

it's an cool and interesting idea, but tbh after the blue buffs nerf the mana regen part doesn't seem too out of hand right now. if anything, issues lie in the fact that you can just stack 3 drings and those + blue buff will give you ridiculous spamming ability, not just blue buff itself. also, it might present problems of have too much mana regen when combined with items like tear/archangels/chalice on champions with toggle abilities (swain, anivia).

wow really. if this goes through even more people will prefer farmy junglers, with a fast clearspeed over ganky junglers.
