elo hell, GP10, Tribunal, getting banned Extended series.
No, but seriously, elo hell, tribunal and bans are all things that are not affected by the metagame, so they should be done.
gp10 should only be discussed once an innovation comes around, kinda like the "philo+hog on toplaner" thing that got cool a while back. Not about the general usefullness of gp10 tho....

I'll need halp finding AD v ArPen reference. I know you and Smash are great at mathcraft. I am not, however. "What is tank" is a great one that we should bury.

who gets the blue buff?
though I actually enjoy those lol.

Also I think "x champion sucked on release and the only reason they are played were cuz of huge buffs" needs to go away.

I think the only topic changer that bothers me is when some on brings up what's currently happening on somebodies stream. I don't really care that HotshotGG is assembling an IKEA desk/chair, or so and so has 10k viewers while afk. Elo hell posts/Being banned should go in the qq thread, and that is where all my posts regarding those topics have gone. Tribunal posts should go in the qq/awesome thread.

elo hell, GP10, Tribunal, getting banned I think maybe a thread where "TL" states our opinions on certain topics and why we don't want them discussed. Especially gp10, because there's a mixed opinion about it (elo hell too, but that's another story) i have actually offered to do that - flat ad vs pen, diminishing returns, elo hell and gp10 were what i had in mind - but either i need links to past discussions on gp10/pen/additional repeat topics so i can get a good overview or they need to come up again. The elo hell and diminishing return discussions i pretty much have memorized.

What about extended series?

I could also go without reading the "Are crit runes worth it?" / "Unlocking" crit discussion ever again, but I dunno if that's as done to death as the others.

That only applies to Riven, T_D, thought I still think she was perfectly balanced when released, just people were just dumb.

I actually like references to streams, makes me feel like I'm watching with friends if I'm already watching and reminds me to tune in if it sounds interesting.

i like to use ctrl as a cast modifier, but i cant because i would stop moving constantly. is it a bug? can i report this to riot?
i really want to use my ctrl key for something in LoL, its a button i can access without moving my fingers. ctrl + QWER is for leveling skills, unless you changed that in keybindings. Though I don't use that all the time, I don't think my champ ever stopped movement when I hit ctrl. Might be just you?

Baseless opinions goes more towards a "10 commandment" thing I'm working on for the subforum. If you think something sucked, it better be based on something more empirical than your opinion.

a lot of champs did suck on release. Certainly some went undiscovered but on a number of them it's easy to just look at lol-patch.com and wonder wtf riot was thinking. -- i type so slowly on phone, i think what is a tank is a good one.

I can't think of any topics which haven't been mentioned, but I thought I'd point out that there's always the possibility of changes to AD/APen runes or gp10 items in the future. Should such things happen it would be silly to ban people for reexamining the old conclusions.
It's blisteringly obvious common sense, but because this is the internet there's always someone surprised that sprinklers can make rainbows.

Assuming there are no changes to GP10 or runes, there shouldn't be any reason to reiterate what's been said couple months ago.
Discussions obviously reopen after they've been patched. I'll add some kind of relevant disclaimer, no worries. Common sense will always prevail as long as I moderate here. :3

Rather than banning the topics, simply having a good list of previous discussion points on-hand for anyone who raises old issues is good enough to shut down regurgitated discussion. The thing is, without even the items themselves changing, the meta and trends is dynamic enough that old topics are often worthwhile to revisit periodically.

The list will be links to said previous discussions.

i dont want to talk about are crit runes worth it again, but im curious, just as a survey how many TL lolers play with <9 crit runes for any champ/match up etc. im just curious how common it is.
