Even on Vladimir you get more healing per gold going CDR boots + Wota/DC and only after that would you finish SV, counting resists. Yet you see Dyrus in tournaments going straight sorc shoes into hourglass first and winning lanes and games like a boss. Maximizing healing might be one playstyle but if it's optional on Vlad I can hardly imagine it being central on other characters. That said I think the stats on it are underrated because CDR is like arpen: impossible to put a gold value on. | ||

Basically, If you fight him the moment you engage on him with q + e active he just blinds you. You miss 3 or more of your auto's even though he takes the magic damage, and then he still out dps's you from poison anyway. You either will die if you keep fighting or you run, in which case he can move quick and move faster than you with your w on, getting a few more potshots, and you're going to end up with a lot less hp cause of poison ticks. He's like the most abusive laner in the game except for like....yorick, and maybe kennen. | ||

Start of game items: Dorans Blade Caitlyn gets ALL cs bot, you start at wraiths clear it then give cait red, clear it and then get into lane just as the creeps get low. veigar harrasses with Q, zilean can harrass with bomb and use slow, cait farms and can put a trap underneath anyone slowed or stunned by veig for much longer duration. the +19% xp from zil/mastery/runes allows the tri laners (except cait who gets only +8% xp, but all the gold/kills) to lvl at the same pace as the duo lane, and perhaps better due to massive harrassment. this set up allows easy dragon control, the ability to steal the opponents blue buff for mid so you don't lose out on anything from the jungler for the team, except top lane, who would have to pick a character that has good sustain and escape, but with slightly better xp because of zil, and a lot of gold from bot tower and dragon early on, top lane should do already. Veigar builds HoG/Philo quickly, zileans gets philo. and cait just farms everything. | ||
