Damage from Tibbers is classified as originating from Annie. This way, if you Tibbers someone under tower, it treats Annie as the source of the damage. Although if you solo send the bear to someone, it should still lock on to the bear if it melees him and Annie is not in range.
I'm not a nub saying "omg why tower attack me wololol" I tried to make it pretty clear that yes, it is indeed as you say it SHOULD still lock onto the bear when it attacks an enemy but it is currently not

he understood you, the tower thinks it's you, tries to reach, then retargets minions. It thinks the bear is you.

it should, but that would be a mighty waste of cleanse
How so? You get snowballed/exhausted as an ad carry in the middle of a teamfight, you're gonna do way less damage at a critical time. Plus you still get the CC reduction for whatever else is gonna hit you.
Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure it does remove the AS slows. It certainly removes the exhaust AS slow.

Faro. He's terrible. Also really obnoxious in solo queue lol.
You can say that again ಠ_ಠ I'm just thankful he doesn't cut off Rambo like colby used to
I don't know if you can top the chick caster yesterday, missing a kill on bot lane, and then lying and telling the other caster she got it on camera in front of 5k viewers who watched soraka soloing the blue golem during it.
I didn't see all but that sounds familiar and she caught the end of the kill there.

O_o 4real? wouldn't you rather cleanse a real stun? i mean obviously if nunu is the only CC then it's fine but i would not waste cleanse on an AS-only slow (gragas barrel, for example) if they had other cc coming

I'm saying a solo Tibbers can melee an enemy champ under the turret and it will not switch onto the Tibbers upon the melee strike the way it should. Instead it will continue attacking minions. Annie is not in range of the turret.
It did not previously act like this. Either this is a new feature where Tibbers can whack away at people under their own turrets or a bug?
I missed the major part of the discussion after I posted the question since I was asleep.
Regarding the riven vs Yorick match-up:
I think Yorick's damage is being underestimated here. He gets 5% extra damage AND 5% damage reduction for each ghoul on the map. Plus the auto-attack damage you take from ghouls isn't insignificant. I'm not saying riven can't beat him, but it sure doesn't seem to be as easy as people are saying.
Say Yorick W+E riven. Riven is slowed and blows E+2Q to get to him uses auto+W+auto+Q+auto. still, why does Yorick need to run away? Can't he just stand there and Auto+Q+auto himself and now he has anywhere from 2-3 ghouls so he gets 10-15% +dmg and dmg reduction and riven is taking damage both from ghoul autos and Yorick's autos. Now when riven disengages, Yorick uses a couple more ghouls while she is retreating. Add to that at this point, Yorick has sustain while riven doesn't.

Don't think you can make a universal rule about what to cleanse and what not to cleanse. Sometimes cleansing Nunu snowball will make the difference between winning and losing a fight, or dieing and not dieing. I've cleansed Ashe's frost shot slow before, and it definitely kept her from killing me. So its a matter of judgement imo, and not generalized rules.
Riven has less sustain than every popular top lane in the game, the entire point of Riven is that she wins trades, and if she can force them to back before she runs out of pots she wins lane. Everyone arguing for Yorick keeps acting like Riven has a sustain advantage vs any top(especially post nerf), if Riven gave a shit about your sustain she flat out would not be viable.
@below idk I figured it was covered there are like 3 pages of posts on the subject. You'd be better off getting advice from one of the top lane mains here, but when I used to play Riven top, all matchups basically are flow chart
are his melee minions dead >no>kill them yes is your shit off cd >no> cs yes attack.

This doesn't help at all. As I said in my post, I'm not trying to prove that Yorick beats riven. I'm saying I'm not sure how to play the matchup and asking for advice.

Maxed nunu snowball is a death sentence in many situations, its one of the longest CC's in the game. 4 seconds of 60% slow and 25% AS debuff, you can barely move. Definitely worth cleansing in a hairy situation.

harass and kite with your autoattacks. I think HSGG ran AD/Apen runes at IPL; not 100% sure tho. basically just be gay with your autoattacks. When rumble uses his skills just back off. When you hit 6, you can out-trade/out-burst the vast majority of champs in a 1v1 situation.

As Ribbon, start cloth+5 pots and rush Tabi. It'll make Yorick's ghouls hurt less. Max Q first, and when Yorick inevitably pushes the lane, mash Q at tower to get all the CS. Eventually you'll be able to bash his face in (around the time you get your ult).
Rumble actually does really well against Nida top, especially before she gets her cougar he can shield her autoattacks and if he can get close, just melt her with flamethrower+harpoons. And even after you get your cougar unless you have a fuckload of MR hes still gunna come out ahead because Rumble is overpowered and needs to be nerfed.
Best thing you can do is just farm and beg your jungler to gank

This is exactly the opposite of how goldfather says to play the matchup - he says you should open doran's blade and wait until level 3, then EQQ at yorick and go for a kill. At this point yorick probably won't even have his own Q yet, and you have 4-5 passive-charged autos if he tries to stand and fight. Seems pretty ballsy, but Riven's damage is so much higher than Yoricks that I think yorick is eating a bad trade that riven can do every 10ish seconds.
