The typical AD carry 21/9/0, the typical 21/9/0 "offensive" jungle page, and the typical 21/0/9 AP page. It's just convenient for those particular ones. I really don't see the necessity on saving mastery pages on server though.

I'd rather have client-side masteries than more server problems.....
I aquired the habit of using a single page and changing it before every game anyways. (Since I do switch computers a lot)

I've been able to say "Gotta go guys, my friends boat is sinking, sorry" without lying once during a raid :D

It's been said already but it's worth saying again, server side masteries are entirely a quality of life change for internet cafe cultures. Those of us with our own computers may not care, but I guarantee you there are a large number of Koreans who appreciate it.
That said, wtb another 10 mastery pages.

Chu8 playing AP maokai in solo queue atm and DEAR GOD those saplings hurt, 460 base dmg and 80% ap ratio if he gets both hits. Why isn't Mao more viable in mid lane or maybe as part of a poke comp? His ratios seem decent (except arcane smash at 40% but it's spammable) and he provides a lot of utility to the team (20% dmg reduction for whole team and potential 600-700dmg aoe at the end? yesplz). After they got baron his sapling poke was chunking people so hard under their inhib tower and eventually killed soraka from like half hp to dead with one sapling. I really want to try AP Maokai with AP nid top and maybe AD kog or corki. I guess his laning as a melee wouldn't be the best until he could one shot waves with sapling, but if he gets any jungle help it's like a guaranteed kill. Chu went 2 dorans with sorc boots into abyssal which seems pretty solid. Probably need to build him kinda tanky. Probably level E first but then I'm not sure between W and Q next, maybe alternate points into them. What do you guys think?

Dunno, at least with the people I play with they generally would rather see Galio mid if you want a "Tank AP" there, but Mao works really well too. His poke with Saplings and disruption is pretty good alongside the damage.

Man I wish I could catch Scarra streaming live more, but watching Vods is almost as good. Pillow butlers seem awesome. Scarra talks about his IPL experience at the very start. http://www.twitch.tv/scarra/b/314613057

From when I used to play solo lane maokai, I felt like Saplings were too high CD to rely on them for poking and as such, you ended up being a Melee caster since W and Q both require you get close to your enemies. I think the build I ended up settling on was like RoA -> Frozen Heart + Force of Nature + Deathcap as necessary, but most of the time I just ended up feeling sad that I wasn't playing Galio instead so I just stopped.

That said, wtb another 10 mastery pages. It's a great change for someone with... access to many different accounts. Making mastery pages everytime someone gets on a new account is frustrating. Especially if you ever reinstall your computer or build a new one or hell, use a friend's computer.

Depends. For AoE damage and disruption, max Q second, for peeling/catching people max W second. The most important things are the cd on Q and the cd+duration on W.

has anyone noticed how the champion skin trading post is filled with one post posters?
|
Apparently HotshotGG going to play support according to a reddit post. Source is just HS saying so on stream. I don't really get why they're doing that. HS has problems but I think fixing them would be better than switching him to support. Although apparently it will be a flexible thing where Chauster will play top if HS doesn't want to play certain matchups/champs.

Chauster is better than HotshotGG. Why would CLG gimp themselves by putting one of their better players on support, when he's clearly better at other roles.

+all hotshot does is buy support items so the transition will be a breeze for him kekek As long as he stays away from alistar that is.

A few days ago I got a PM from some 0-poster asking for skins. Thought it was strange since I've posted in the trading post a grand total of once. I just reported it and moved on.

So if Chauster goes top once in awhile, does that mean he now believes Doublelift is good enough bottom to handle the lane without him?
|
Doublelift's usually one of the best at handling just his lane, he just usually derps about where everyone else on the map is.
Hotshotgg at support is hilarious though. I've never seen another pro top laner so bad at warding. Maybe being forced to buy a bunch of wards at the start will curb that.

^doublelift writing guide for support janna. wtf?
with that being said, Chau is supposedly the best player on CLG (I don't fucking doubt it, either). And Dyrus had said multiple times that Xpecial can beat him (dyrus) in toplane. I guess support players es #1?
