Rara (I think it's the name of the rioter) also said that the reason the patch was delayed was fine tuning and some bug fixing from stuff submitted on the PBE right before.

I honestly think the only reason it's being done is so people can look up pro rune pages, which won't work anyway, since most fill them out on the fly. Wait, what? Just axe the feature? The reason the notification is there is because people will be curious why their mastery pages have been wiped and they need to redo them. It's just an advanced warning. I'm not sure why you're upset about that? The delay in the patch has nothing to do with the Mastery Pages.

As champs with so much potential for lane domination, especially Olaf, it's hard to understand why even pros didn't pick them up more before their buffs (I know I did, and now those are others champs of mine that get banned or picked away from me >.>).

Saving player settings creates a lot of stress on the sever. When mastery pages where first introduced, they were local-only because the servers were not ready for it at the time. There was a lot of clamouring on the forums to the Devs about it and that's why there has been the move to push them server-side. While you may think it's not terribly memory intensive, it really adds up when you have millions of players all constantly trying to connect to the central database, and then having to share that information between other databases. It's the same reason even a 1% increase in search efficient is so important to Google. They're dealing with things on such a large scale, and with so many ripple effects it gets messy pretty fast. Keybindings would face a similar problem, especially if you had one for each champion. The main question is "Do we have a need for it?" Most people tend to either smartcast everything, or regular cast everything. Not that many people realisitcally have special keybinds for different champions. The amount of stress the servers would have to deal with some constant query requests really isn't worth it to deal with the small number of people who would benefit from this. If you really want a million custom keybinds and can't be bothered to change them in the in-game menu, just have the ini files saved in a directory somewhere and drag them into the Config folder before a game. And if you can't be bothered to do that, then you probably weren't really going to benefit from those keybinds that much, were you?

Personally I don't need it because most of the time I use my own computer to play. But imagine I would frequently use internet cafes to play lol and therefor had to switch comps all the time... Hmmmmm where might RIOT have an interest in rapidly growing and where internet cafes are a big thing for gaming. No idea ![]()

I just was (poorly) stating my annoyance about this feature being the possible delay of the patch, the pc bang thing is a really good point. for me personally I could give a shit, I'd like to make rune pages on the fly too if Riot wasen't using it as an income source, but me =/= everybody.

Prob wrong for Lanewick tho. 21-0-9 with both pen masteries in the offensive tree, is that it? I checked the thread rapidly but the OP hasn't been updated since the last buff and you don't talk about lanewick in it.

Anyone in an online game telling you they set something on fire pretty much never set something on fire. to be fair... my friend was playing dota one day and something along the lines of "wtf brb house on fire" and his house was actually on fire lol.

I do know someone who one time actually said brb cat on fire and everyone he was with actually was concerned for him when he got back. (He doesn't even have a cat)

(He doesn't even have a cat) The closest thing we had was when our MT D/C'd during Kel'Thuzad because his cat ate through the power cord on his computer and shocked itself silly. Fun times.

I was raiding on WoW once upon a time and my wife's hair straighteners caught fire and shorted the houses fuses. After the initial shock and getting back on after ~20 minutes (making sure wife was ok ) it was pretty funny ^_^ - Nefarian is beastmode bro :D
