When a healing champion is very fed (or is AD Sion late game) b. Riot makes a huge mistake with numbers on a healing effect. | ||

new UI is sexy when you payback someone, it says SHUT DOWN in huge obnoxious letters, same with first blood it tells you when your First Win bonus is available on your profile page you can search for custom games now (there's a search box) | ||

Most of the actives in this game have an effect that they counter, and Exec Calling is the only one that's bad on numbers alone (Gunblade just has the 'nobody can both use this well and spend that much on it' problem.) IMO, the best solution is simple: If a champion's viability is determined solely by the amount of healing a skill does to them. it should be unaffected by modifiers and balanced from there. A lot of design space is either skirted around or wasted because of the current binary toggle system. | ||

Effects like "UNIQUE Passive: Each Auto-attack applies a debuff that prevents 15 healing points for 5 seconds" would be great. Still useful, possibly more so against long term regen, and would still be better against Vlad/Swain/whatever, but it doesn't have to completely fuck them. Like down the exact champions, items, and balance blatant. Just taking some game-design/ubiquitous phrase isn't remotely copyright infringement. Unless someone was using things like "shut down" before Quake. Not to mention "shut down" has been in LoL since way before I started playing. Probably since beta. They just didn't have it in big letters. | ||

LoL already uses some of the same kill callouts as DotA anyway. I'd assume that it's fine. | ||

They'd rather instantly become the only champion I played like... ever. I suck at DotA, and havn't played for years... but I have fond memories of running around with five meepos and instagibbing people with "Poof!" when everyone was convinced Geomancer was the worst champ ever made. | ||
