I can see post 6 ganks being pretty good. Charge Fear behind them, making them run towards your team, then knockback as soon as it wears off. Anyone able to give a range on the knockback? Like, short as Riven's QQQ or big as Headbutt?

Think Shyvana ult. The range is greater than your typical Riven/Rammus/Maokai knockback, but not by a lot.

Olaf is second only to Mantheon in terms of manliness and satisfaction. Chucking axes at fools, calling down lightning bolts on their faces, chilling at 10% health and then never dying thanks to passive + w. All of his skills have that visceral FUCK YEAH feeling when used well.

His clear speeds are pretty terrible now so if you can avoid his ganks then he sucks. He relies on items to get tanky, and if he can't get those items he becomes a non factor later on

Rammus is heavily item dependent. After his first nerf he was as good as all the other junglers instead of being the best (along with skarner). Then they nerfed his w defenses. Then they nerfed his base stats. They nerfed an average champion, it just took people a few months to stop banning rammus and see how terrible he is now. If you think rammus is pretty amazing, you're playing against bad people, or the enemy jungler is terrible (or someone is picking rammus against you and you suck). It's the same reason why no one in their right mind bans skarner becuase his mana problems makes him a rather crappy jungler. Warwick and lee sin make rammus ganks look like shit.

Olaf used to be that nobody that'd make me go "OH SHI-" whenever he pressed his ult (I remember the first one I saw, I was playing Morgana, with who I'd just avoid chases with BS to skip cc and snares to people's faces, and then there was that dude that ghost-ulted while chasing me in the jungle and suddenly all I could do was cower in fear).
But now that I play him, Olaf is that awesome manbeard (treebeard being everybody's favorite grumpy old dude) who roars all the time but still makes me feel badass whenever I charge into a fight, ulting and then facehugging all of their burst like a man before going apeshit on them.
You can't do that with Brolaf. He doesn't yell loud enough.

Rammus and Skarner basically suffer from lesser cases of Shaco syndrome. They were really, really good in solo queue/low elo so they got nerfed.

Skarner Riot just fucked over because they didn't know how to fix him properly. Doubling the cost of Q is stifling in some scenarios and completely irrelevant in others (namely where you can take 2-3 blues). Main reason I find him not played much in solo queue is how anti-fun the Q nerf was. The ult is still just as dumb (should never pull people who have flashed/leaped away), the Q slow spam is still just as stifling (marginally less slowing), and the damage is almost the same. You don't see him that much in arranged games because of how he works. He excels at picking people off with flash/shurelya ults, but that's not so useful against coordinated teams.

name a champion with a better defence steroid than rammus? saying rammus needs items to get tanky doesnt mean anything ;p

Rammus mostly just needs HP and sustain from his early items. Even with W it's easy to be easily killable because of his very low base HP pool.

So long enough to be more than just a mini stun, you'll actually notice the displacement, but not knocking anyone through a wall unless they're pressed against it. Gotcha.

He Q into you silence and kite. No taunt no success. Personally I think rammus is a situationally good pick. R deals tons of damage and E is still a 3 second taunt.
