I feel like the rate of new champions put a clock on how long this game can last. it's getting to the point where every champion sounds like a tweaked version of an old champion. it's unfortunate that lol is f2p they could space it out a bit more like 6-12 a year, but they gotta make money.

TBH I'd say Storm is more similar to Kassadin than Kennen.

Also, I have a feeling that beyond items that are already good in general (e.g. Triforce), focusing on itemizing MS isn't going to go that far on him. Diminishing returns makes the "stack MS for damage" gameplan lose steam very quickly. Buying movespeed after 490 MS is really inefficient.

The only cool thing about spiritbreaker is that you can just juggernaut through everything across the whole map....other than that hes boring as fuck...and hecarim cant even do that, leaving him just plain old lame

I doubt he'll get much healing from that aura. AoE slow from Rylai's might be fun though, even if it's diminished.

I imagine it'll just be a relatively small damage boost so there will be no need for a cap. It'll just mean when you pop his E and maybe ghost you'll hit harder. People will probably still build mercs etc on him, and tank items with maybe a trinity force.

Not the most original and exciting kit but it'll be nice to have another jungling option, especially if he's a fast clearer who can compete with Udyr/Shyv/Mundo.

well, there is in the sense that there's a limited number of items, a limited number of runes and masteries, and a limited # of champs you can have to add to your ms.

there's also an actual diminishing returns mechanism in the game that lowers the movespeed bonuses you gain at 415 and 490 MS.

Question will be how it scales off movespeed. As in if it takes the raw number into account (e.g. 5% of 10000 movespeed) or if it somehow factors in the DR. It seems like the first.

it isn't. it's just an itemized surge, aka a niche item for niche builds on niche champs. it used to be a decent luxury item on teemo or kayle, but it has never been a core item on anyone. AS + AP are just two really non-synergetic stats. couple them with mana regen or w/e other throwaway stat nashor's has, and it might as well not be an item

its a percentage of bonus move speed. Say he has 300 base MS. Then from boots 2 it goes up to 370. So x% of 70.

You add a PD - +15%. MS = 300+70+0.15x300=415. So AD = x% of 115. Pretty simple.

Edit: I'm pretty sure it would factor in the diminishing returns after 415. No reason why it wouldn't.

What's the safest/easiest champion to pick that can carry in solo queue? I do alright with Ashe except I'm terrible at utilizing her arrow. I hear Tristana is really easy to play with.
