This literally blew my mind. It's obvious to fight around your ad carry is it not? I'm not qq'ing or anything, especially because we won, but I just want to get this fact straight

I've lost so many games as an AD carry that was farmed as fuck that should have been won so long as our team just made it impossible to dive me.

If your champ is a stronger peeler/your AD carry is super farmed, peeling and protecting your AD works fine. If your champ sucks at peeling and is best at diving/disruption, then you want to dive the enemy team. If the enemy AD is really strong at kiting you and you can't stick to them, you may be better off protecting your carry.

No one can stand there and trade hits, she will win a head to head fight with a fed AD carry if they literally don't move and let Cass hit everything. Harass? Veigar, LB, Kass, Ahri, champs that either have high mobility or long range silences or stuns.

I've seen Fizz absolutely shit on Cass a couple times in lane before, don't really play either champ well... so I can't comment on whether or not it just bad Cassio players but it makes sense I guess, he has the mobility to dodge the poison which means Fizz can close the gap and trade without taking big big damage. I dunno, most of the time when I see a Cass lose lane it because the Cass is just bad. /shrug

You need to be as maneuverable as possible to dodge her skillshots. Having a champion with a mobility skill like Fizz really helps. It's unrealistic to dodge her 100% of the time, but if you can dodge her skillshots like 50% of trades, you will come out ahead in the long run with many AP mids.

As long as you know when to use E to dodge her shit, and have good reaction / build order, I think he comes out ahead. Because Fizz is melee, he can't poke without taking obvious damage. Either have enough mana to poke + E out, or save up everything and go for the full combo. Fizz's full combo with ignite has very powerful burst for a level 6 caster, usually more than other casters.

EDIT: Oh right I forgot to ask this. I am under the impression that Kassadin is weak in early laning and that many champions can absolutely annihilate him pre-six, and these champs are typically ones with great range, e.g ziggs or really strong early e.g sion or LeBlanc who else is there and what attributes does Kass not want to see in the enemy? Thanks.

Veigar, LB, Kass, Ahri, champs that either have high mobility or long range silences or stuns. Kassadin does not counter Cassiopeia. A good cass can completely zone out kass prior to level 6. Ahri, Galio and Morgana can turn it into a farm lane. Veigar can't trade with cass. He either burst cass down in one combo post level 6 or get bullied due to Cass superior farming range. No traditional mage counters Cassiopeia (other than LeBlanc). There are only those that can match her farming capacity. What truly counter Cass are the assassins. Talon in particular counters Cass hardcore. Katriana and Fizz also do it pretty well.

if assassins kill cass, who tends to include wota/rylai in core then assassins kill anybody and assassins OP

Assassins are hard countered by bruisers who build armor. Any champion who is viable solo top can trade with or counter assassins. On April 05 2012 14:13 Navi wrote: galio crushes cassiopeia in trades I see where you are coming from. If Cass and Galio both unleash QWE (R), Galio will win. However Galio abilities are on way longer cooldown. From my experience Cass v.s. Galio ends up being a farming lane with Cass being more aggressive and Galio just shrug off her damage.
