Whoa. You'd think we'd of heard something about that nerf to blue buff before. That's gonna really hurt Anivia, at least.

Rammus jungle clear time is going to be reduced a bit now, oh well. I wonder if this is going to have a big effect on him. Seems kind of substantial to me

The Janna nerf might be for two reasons.

1) Recent tournament
2) Be consistent with the new support since Lulu's passive leaves the ally if the shield is broken. I don't think is "that" big of a deal because this is something that can be reverted fairly simply if is needed. The mechanic is not broken.

Can someone explain to me how Shaco was "nerfed" early game? Not a Shaco player...so I'm not sure what happened this change. (Heard about the early game "complaint" in the patch preview video...)

It will hurt his early game a bit won't it? since now poison gets damage from bonus damage only. It might make him stronger late game, but I'm not completely sure

This blue buff nerf annoys me greatly, I'm pretty sure it will affect anivia far more than anyone else. Not sure what riot was trying to achieve with this one. I think I read that they want to avoid mindless pushing with blue...? Really though it's just going to make zombie-push stuff like morg stronger because she's so mana efficient.

edit: oh they also reduced bt lifesteal. The only ad carry that really builds early bt atm is ezreal, so now I can say I got my main nerfed in every role :D

His scaling is changed from base ad scaling to bonus ad scaling. Base scaling means his base AD is factored into it while bonus ad means only bonus ad is factored in the scaling. Shaco start with 50ish ad so .5 base AD scaling means +25ish while 1.0 bonus AD means +0 until you have more AD items. Aka late game buff early game nerf.

At level 3 with 1 point in all skills and no bonus AD, Instead of doing 40+0.5(51.7+3(3.5))=71.1, it now does 50. So they knocked off 20ish damage, unless you take quite a bit of AD early on.

A bit surprised they didn't want to change anything about Fiora. I feel she is a bit too strong in some areas (base stats for one)

It will definitely will affect some mana hungry champions like cryop and Swain, however blue buff does need a nerf. A champion should not become mana-less with blue buff. Now if they can just bump up the mana regen items like tear up a bit.

Shyvana is barely touched, Irelia needs a nerf although they might have went a bit overboard with it, Janna nerf looks pretty big but again tournament shows results, not that I agree with the Janna nerf though. I think they could wait a bit until IPL4 before nerfing her.

Oh wow. They didn't nerf jax after all. The hp per level is huge, especially since he's now getting resists, and I assume the counterstrike range buff will fix that issue where you leap to someone and then they randomly don't get stunned. I'm still absolutely certain the new ult is worse than the old one but the other changes make me very happy, I think he got ably compensated.

in general i think it's a good idea not to mess with new champs for awhile unless they're blatantly broken. 2 weeks simply isn't enough time to figure out definitively whether or not a champ is strong/weak

Mind you they didn't hit anything I actually find annoying but if it'll get her to being not as played I am okay with this. She's still pretty much the get the hell off of my team champion of champions..

Maybe Janna shield will be used less at a frontal burst deflection and more as a retaliation buffer, if ya know what I'm sayin'. Support AP Blitz now OP.

If they're gonna keep nerfing Irelia's ult, at least return some of the base damage that was nerfed off so many times before.

Interestingly, instead of gaining hp for buying AD/AD, Jax now gets resistances in the respective stat bought. I guess they achieved pre-remake Jax tankiness without it pooling all into HP, and into resistances?
