hmm, so further messing with ad malz:

I dont think jungle is the right fit for him. He can do it, and he is really fast, but even then you find yourself wanting MORE. Which is hard when you only have a stock amount of creeps. Like I would have wriggles, bruta and hexdrinker, only find myself wishing I had manamune and phage as well. Just not enough income.

I would be interested if someone who didnt suck at solo top (ie not me) was able to make it work. Play him almost like teemo or nidalee: just isolate top and take all the towers, then roll into the teamfight autoing shit, dropping w, and using ult if anyone is out of position.

So why aren't you guys just running ad malz mid? Just do it the same as corki mid, build a chalice and ad items and go to town pushing every wave into the tower, become unstoppable because they can't block your farming and you have beastly scaling.

The last ten pages really make me wish I had malz lol, sounds so entertaining.

Just a few months back Morde ghosts actually worked with lifesteal, you could stack BTs and get healed a crapton no matter what ghost you got since they get your AD.

Somewhere in the intervening time they patched it out and now my morde coop AI trolling is much more boring =(

I don't think he's bad. I just don't think he brings anything to the table that other APs can't do better. Literally every reason people can come up with for why Annie is underplayed can be applied to Veigar but Annie's lane phase is a lot better and her team fighting is also a lot better imo.

If you pick veigar it's usually 100% for his stun, which is probably top 3 strongest non-ultimate in the game in my opinion. His great single-target burst makes him relevant but his stun is why anyone would want to pick him.

I've seen some awesome veigar plays, specially comboed with WW and other stuff. Don't think he is bad at all, depends on the team.

Well the good thing about nidalee and teemo is they still have decent mobility to get away from ganks right? Malz top just seems so vulnerable to me. Rather just run him mid imoimo.

Yeah, I know that his stun is crazy strong in team fights. The problem with Veigar, imo, has always been that even if you get out of lane phase without being behind you just kill a squishy in team fights and now the fight is basically just a 4v4 for the next ten seconds because all of Veigar's shit has long CDs except for Q. Compare to say Annie whose initiation is slightly worse but who does enough damage to kill a squishy just like Veigar but also put out 30%-60% of 2-3 enemies health depending on their MR. Not to mention Tibbers is actually really really useful in team fights.

I don't think he's bad. And I do really like Veigar so I'm not trying to come across as a Veigar hater but I don't really play him anymore because I just feel like so many APs are better than him.

Trundle is pretty fun, love his slow in teamfights....but damn if you dont get a team with good damage it feels hopeless. Is he very viable at high ELO? He feels easily countered by slows, but thinking of sticking with him and pantheon as my two mains.

watched the first game of legion vs EG, clakeydeeee did a nice own red to their red route, successfully got the kill on enemy jungler, then when legion's tf is chasing him, he actually pulled a subtle but baller ass move where he kept the enemy red aggro'd and dodged TF's cards at the same time so that when the tf retreated, clakey was able to smite the enemy red that never regenerated.

Every hero is viable in every ELO. It just depends on the teamcomp and how good you actually are with the hero. And yes, slows are strong vs Trundle but it's strong against numerous other junglers aswell. Atleast you have a very strong slow that forces people out of position.
