On kennen and Morg I always go zhonyas first or sometimes after RoA on Morgana. I dont think Void Staff would ever be a good first item. I get it second on a lot of champs tho. Brand and Lux for instance. On sion I thought triple dorans mobility boots DFG was a common build. I love lichbane on Lux. Been playing Lux alot lately...been watching Chu8 too much | ||

The problem isn't that Lichbane procs are bad. The problem is that Lichbane is actually a downgrade from Sheen in terms of proc damage if you buy it too early. i was just wandering why jungle cho gath isnt considered as an valid option in higher elo? in my opinion he has a solid gank potential with his q and w and he has basicly a free smite and his clear time is not that awful so why is he considered bad as a jungler? | ||

Taking shield first works vs weak earlygame laners (kass, vlad, etc) since you can block their spell damage and gain more armor/MR. Then your autos hit really hard and you consistently harass them. But, I still think maxing e first is better. Mages generally are strong midgame, and you'd be giving up a lot of your midgame burst by maxing e first. Although, granted I never actually MAXED e first, so that part is purely theorycraft. | ||

Well I don't think you need 120 AP to break even. At level 18 cass's base attack damage is 104.6 (47+3.2*18) and that's regardless of runes, masteries or items. 2 DRings and a lichbane provide 110 AP and you'll have more by 18. I guess the range is an issue though. Wasn't aware her range was that high. | ||

Ya I never said lich was bad. Just that rushing it was. Had you suggested running sheen into dcap I would have liked the idea as an option. Im all for expirimentation. That doesnt mean that I will let stuff that acually isnt that great slide. The point of posting crazy shit is to see if anyone can figure out why it doesnt work. In this case, its for the reasons yango laid out. | ||

With only 100 total AP, you're tying up 950 gold to finish Lichbane to get a proc that's exactly the same. | ||

Also, just had this thought occur to me, what if they added the cloth armor aspect back to HoG? It only got removed because HoG stacking was so effective since you got both health and armor from it but after the armor removal people just started stacking philostones. Would a HoG with armor be balanced now since you can't just stack them like you used to be able to? | ||

I was Teemo top vs AP Sion. At around level 12ish I had Berserker's, Wits and Wriggles and he had Tear (what?), Tabi and Revolver. I figured I could beat him handily, so I went for the kill. I popped every shield before he could detonate and blinded him when he ulted. I led him across Mushrooms and overally just felt like I did everything I could, but he still beat me. Did he just get really lucky procs on his passive or what? I was rather confused about the whole ordeal. | ||
