Insofar as your re-branding of terms holds no actual practical advantage (which you haven't shown it does), it's less confusing both for newcomers with DotA experience, and for inter-genre discussion to use the terms as they originally meant. | ||

Ya I mean, DotA calls their things heroes and creeps, LoL has champions and minions... the games are clearly nothing alike, who would ever make inferences from one to the other. I liked the part where you even avoided saying 'carries carry the game' by typing x instead of carry. As I said, why would you call something "carry" if the term doesn't mean what the word does? That makes no sense. The term is completely stolen from DotA, and you want to give it a different definition that has nothing to do with the meaning of the word? | ||

'Carries' are the champions that do this most often, and not unexpectedly. | ||

MAYBE that's why there are two different terms. LoL players call everything carry. «Carry AP», «Carry AD», «GP is a carry», «Lee is a carry jungler». We don't have to cope with this stupid shit, where «carry» means «makes use of big farm»... | ||
