I still haven't adapted to the new health pendant opening on junglers so that might be another possible opinion, although that seems like a bad idea on panth. I see boots first mostly. get double buff and camp a lane like a motherfucker. it's the epitemy of everything that's wrong with LoL today.

Man, just witnessed a real sad stomp on SV/Doublelift streams.
Something like 12-0 by 10 minutes, 15 minute baron, game ends at 19:28 with their team collectively 24-0 or something.

Yeah that game was so one sided.

Since there's no Xerath thread, what summoners should I pick on Xerath? I would think flash ignite, but I heard that ignite was bad because his range is so long.
|
surge so that you can oneshot with ulti
Bytheway hotshotgg did his standard go 0-5 Riven vs Wukong -> "I shouldnt play heroes that need help like Riven because in solo queue you just cant expect help"
|
Since when does riven need help?

since hotshot sucks and monkey OP.

I thought riven won against wukong.

Ok so I did some math on this surge vs ignite thing on xerath: at LVL6: Ignite deals 170 true dmg at lvl 6, where as surge gives 36,3 AP at lvl 6. Let's say Xerath nuke the target with his Q + E + 3 x R, the scaling will give him 3.1 of his AP, that will be 112,53 extra dmg with surge BEFORE MR, and it doesn't give healing reduction debuff. at LVL18: Surge=292,578 potential AOE dmg Ignite=390 true dmg on single target So you can say that ignite is better for early game lane dominance, and surge for late game team fight aoe. But keep in mind that surge got a longer CD, so you may not have it up when your opponent's ignite is back up. Imo laning phase is where xerath shine the most, and most of the time that extra dmg and healing debuff is what wins you your lane.
|
according to your figures, surge is better at all times in the game, as it does nearly 1000 times as much damage, apparently

comma is a decimal point in some languages

LOL, hotshot got told on his stream
"lets play a game where i just farm the lane and you jungle" "how about play a game where you cut your mic down"
gets mad and doesnt talk the rest of the game

Real match making
Triple queue normals with all level 30s (844 wins, 872 wins, 387 wins) and get 1231 and a 762 win randoms. Enemy team is levels 11 10 12 20 30 (who had ~451 wins).

hotshot 88 cs with nidalee at 10 minutes and pretty much owning kennen... not bad

Why the hell would a matchmaking system care about how many wins each player has.
|
Because there's generally a large gap in Elo between someone who is a fresh level 30 (~140 wins) and someone who has a 1000 wins. It illustrates the very big disparity between the twot eams.
