Eh okay I guess. But I guess the problem I have with the comparison is that Morg plays more on the passive side in lane with just instclearing waves and only really going for a kill when either a. they hit binding or b. ulti is up. While Ahri seems to play much more in-your-face if you max W.

I haven't really played Twitch much but he is really fun. I really don't agree with the "countered by oracles" reasoning of him not being viable, if the other team buys oracles (which they will,) he just plays like every other AD carry, then if you kill the guy with oracles they need to spend more G on it, while regardless of whether or not they have oracles you still get your AS steroid.
I can see his short range being an issue but Graves seems to be doing fine at that range, and I think Twitch's ult is better than Grave's.
Why is Twitch never played ever?
Grave's short range isn't as a big a problem because of his passive giving him quite a bit of tankability. Not to mention his base stats are relatively tanky for an AD carry. Twitch is squishy with crap defensive base stats and no defensive abilities other than invis.
He doesn't do particularly more damage than any other AD carry. His early-mid game burst is pretty high with expunge, but Corki/Ez/Graves maybe even Trist has comparable or better burst. Twitch used to be very strong 'cause of his ulti, but now with the huge nerf to his ult it's just not enough for him to be on par with other champs. His aoe damage with his ult/expunge is quite strong, but it requires a ton of farm for it to be good and you likely won't get there against good teams since he's so weak before that point.

So he is tough to farm with against good teams but if he is able to get there he performs on par with other AD carries, therefor it is not worth the early game risk.
I could definitely see a Caitlyn pushing him out of lane easily.

Well I mean late game he's still not that good. Once his ulti runs out, and it runs out pretty fast since I think at max level it only lasts for 7 hits, he's very likely going to get insta-gibbed due to his terrible range. Graves doesn't have an issue with range due to his E and passive. All short range champs have some way of staying alive/escaping. Twitch doesn't and I think he's among the squishiest AD carries in terms of base stats and base stat growth.

Twitch also lacks any farming abilities (Or reasonable ones) minus his ult. He specializes in 2 on 1 fights which is like like saying he can damage people, because I can't think of many heros that get worse then they have a teammate nearby.
He is more a Hybrid AD Carry/Assassin as when he does his job right, he appears, someone dies. His invis is a fantastic non-engage but it is not a disengage, since it can't trigger when you're being hit/exhausted/ignited/looked at funny.
He really is a lot of fun to play, especially because he's by no means pathetic, and the living ward aspect of his roaming can set your team up for several beneficial fights. Oracles isn't a needed counter (minus to living ward). Just turning around and killing the stupid rat is though. Also, if you do somehow get ahead in your lane, the ability to pop invis and either push them back or get a free 200 damage on them is a great way to stay ahead.

Twitch does a TON of damage lategame, but you really need a team built around him for competitive play or he just dies because of his super low base stats and range puts him as an easy instagib target. It's really hard to get twitch to lategame and farmed. But if you do he wrecks face. The thing is though that other carries like vayne are a lot stronger in lane (and easier to get them to lategame + not as team dependant) and scale just as well, so it's hard to justify him as a pick in most cases atm. :/

Not sure who it was (I think Doublelift), but one of the prominent streamers was claiming that no ranged AD scales as good as Twitch does because he has the most stereoids.
Well, he does have true damage, 70% ASpd and 35 AD as stereoids. But I guess his 1200 range AoE autoattack is what makes him so amazing lategame. It's like a Lux ult on a .5 sec cooldown.

I know that Dan Dinh used to say that twitch is the strongest ad carry ingame ages ago and that he scales the hardest, the longer the game goes on the stronger you get is what he used to say.

Build tanky and just run around everywhere like an idiot. The items you're building should be fine.

Yep. Farm open lanes as much as possible and get into raid boss mode.

Just stand @ inhib turret and farm 2-3 lanes @ once huehue.
