Pant passive doesn't block talon W, that's an ability. Unless you meant Q, Pant passive blocks every ability that applies on hit effects, it just blocks the damage though not the actual on hit effects.

Pant passive used to be fun when cait ult still applied on hit effects:p, speaking about pant, is chalice any good if you're vs a strong AP? It gives you some MR and lets you spam more spears.

It is more likely that a siege minion hit him than talon's W being bugged and triggering pant passive.

I've had siege minions trigger my passive since like forever and I've never ever have blocked talon W.

How does rushing sheen and spamming w foxy work? The w acts a lot like Sona's q and sheen is a strong item on Sona. So I figured maybe going for a early sheen and turn it into lichbanes late could give a lot of damage to a foxy who spams a lot of w.
Edit: I was building triforces into triple snowball on her and her last night. The kit seems to support a spam moves and auto attacks with 2 seconds delay nicely.

My well renowned spider day 1 senses whispered me that an ideal build would revolve around Wota, Rylais, Sheen and Abyssal.
-If you go for the standard Deathcap Rylais build you are incredibly squishy in early teamfights and, since you can't really unload your stuff from safe range and back off, makes fights for you more risky than for other AP carries.
-Her Q/W basicly shouts "put me toplane to counter bruisers without sustain" (Wukong and his bros who are all so fotm right now)
However, despite my spider senses right now I'm having fun killing incredibly stupid people mid over and over again. Ahri is the queen of waiting for that moment when the other AP mid baits an obvious gank, kill one of the guys and gtfo. =D
Deathcap builds work fine for me because I'm getting that giants belt before teamfights get really messy since people are stupid and feed me. However, I highly doubt it's optimal. Her role feels just too different from someone like Annie/Brand where Dring -> Deathcap is a nobrainer.
For playstyle I'm poking 24/7, wait for the CC to roll down and go straight for an opening on the enemy AD carry or, if not possible, their AP carry. That's pretty much the same mindset as an Akali/LB but with a kit that's closer to Rumble than to either of those.
Edit: To the guy who keeps comparing her to Morgana: No. Just no. Morgana buttrapes teams full off Udyrs and Skarners. Everyone who has to get close to slug it out without huge burst. Morg ult/Q/W shine in exactly those situations where you wtfpwn multiple of those walking up to your carries.
An Ahri played like that lacks the CC to fullfill that role. You can't just say "butbut she has spellvamp and a skillshot CC, they must be similar!" - the actual difference is quite huge.

Isn't she too squishy to make use of abyssal? I was thinking the build (vs. standard ap mid) would look like Chalice, boots Sheen, boots 2, death cap, lichbanes, void staff. I know its pretty glass cannon, but you're going to have high burst with w auto attach every 4 seconds.
