Soraka shouldn't really be exposed to danger and flash pulv alistar is overrated.

Soraka doesn't really need escapes if played properly, except maybe against a couple of champs who can not only dive her easily, but also kill her easily. And then it's not even clear if an escape summoner would help her at all.
Also, CV is pretty bad now. Heal over CV is quite viable in many situations.

I don't understand how CV can be bad. Worse than before? Sure. But IMO, CV would be playable if it had a 3 minute cooldown.
Unconditional map vision is WAY stronger than an escape, extra CC, or a tiny burst of extra damage, even if it were on similar cooldown. Having 40 second CVs has just made people sloppy at using CV properly for those times when it's REALLY necessary.

I agree that defensive supports like soraka/janna don't ever really need flash if positioned properly thus heal/cv should be the most optimal summoner. However ali/taric still need flash to initiate and capitalize on mistakes.

2 weeks ago i started playing anivia and i really feel that she is pretty weak compared to the other mid aps.
of course her wall can be pretty good but right now there are so many champions who have an escape ability and the duration of the wall itself is really short.
also her Q is not that great in my opinion.any good player can dodge it easily and you really have to go into the fight to be able to get anything from your ulti.
it just seems like the other aps are far more forgiving when it comes to making mistakes or beeing caught offguard. and even if you are feed it seems like champs like annie,cassio or kassadin are far more rewarding.
but maybe i havent yet played her enough to see her real potential

The only uses CV really has right now:
Giving vision to help kill someone (no brush juking).
Checking an area to see if it's safe to ward it.
One extra combat summoner can change a LOT in bot lane.

Oh btw, I am talking about solo queue here. CV in competitive games is a different thing.

Bad nasus are going to tend to run in ahead of their team and run straight to a squishy and slow, instead of taking a slow on someone in the front and force them to react to your team. I'm also not going to agree that trynd is happy to trade farm with nasus, since nasus' W with max cdr like rapes trynd in teamfights and trynd is a pretty strong laner who shouldn't be as afraid as nasus of getting raped in lane. He also has insane anti tower diving and gank escapes which are 2 ways to shut down a mid/late game hero like nasus early on.

Anivia is fucking crazy are you kidding me? You just spam ulti and E all day and you do batshit crazy damage with no AP, not to mention you are basically unkillable in a non onesided teamfight because of egg and like a rod of ages. Q and Wall you use in obvious situations especially together. Can't dodge a Q if someone is trying to chase you or if you wall them off and they have no where else to run and if they duke they have to sit in your ultimate longer. Watch froggen play anivia and go 8/1 in 10 minutes against SK with just like boots catalyst and blue buff.
Anivias range means they can do all her damage from insane range and having great escapes with egg, Q, ulti and wall so it should be very hard to get caught on her.
I only sees EUs play anivia but even in tournaments they carry EXTREMLY hard. (ocelote, moma both went like 10/1 when their whole team was feeding)
