I personally love jungling and getting blamed for shit isn't enough to deter me from playing a role that I think is the most fun in the game. Playing in a lane is such a bore to me compared to jungling.
Also, jungling is more PvP oriented than PvE compared to laning for me because I am spending much less timing killing minions/creeps than laners. I'm going to be going around the map exerting map control through ganking and placing wards in places that are too out of the way for laners.

I'm watching Dyrus solo top Olaf against Irelia. Is that Irelia just terrible, or is solo top Olaf actually viable now?
|
solo top olaf has always been viable in the right matchup.

Might be something I'll be trying out. I love Olaf, I just don't like how sketchy his jungling can be, especially cuz I'm personally very weak to counter jungling.
What does he lose to?

What does he lose to? Olaf's jungle is fast as fuck and he's a monster at 1v1ing people--he's really not that vulnerable to counterjungling. There's just not enough farm in the jungle to get him the itemization he needs midgame.

It's kinda weird how I never even considered playing Olaf in lane until Dyrus' recent games. I bought him because I've been buying all the champs I can that are junglers. I tried him out for like a day and I gave up and thought he just sucked in the jungle. I almost never play roles outside of jungle and support but I guess if I get stuck in solo top I have a champ I should try out. I've been getting tired of playing ww every time I have to play solo top.

I just feel like his jungle is only really fast when his health is lower, cuz of his passive. Which makes me really skeeved out when a big eye ball pops up on me.
But I could definitely be doing it wrong. I'm not known to be a strong jungler in general.

Have you played him since his "buff"? Does the undertow projectile speed make any noticeable difference in his ganks?
|
1600 -> 1500 is not going to make a huge difference. It's still going to miss if you throw it like before.

It's a very noticeable difference. Makes it much harder to juke the axe.
Anyway I've played olaf top many many many times and I still do it, and still consider it pretty much strictly worse than nasus. Olaf is just way more fun.

I dunno mang, dat fuckin' Olaf E is such a bitch to deal with. Also, against a strong kiting team, Olaf is much much harder to kite than Nasus.

Like, when Riven, Talon, Graves and Xerath all joined, people were playing them left and right, dodge queues because someone else picked them, and talked on all the forums about them. With Shyvana, people were really excited about her for like, the first day, then stopped giving a fuck. Shyvana just isn't broken like Graves. Auto attacking to get a skill faster instead of flat CD sounds fun until you realize it's exactly like xin, graves, and skarner except that it doesn't scale with CDR. All it ends up doing is emphasizing "oh I need to auto minions now" more because you get -3 seconds on the CD with a base CD of 2.5 MINUTES, so if you're losing and can't farm minions well sucks for you. Transforming and pushing people as a dragon sounds fun until you realize that it pushes them about an inch, so charging in from behind isn't worth it and charging in from the front just helps them escape. Oh yeah, and it stuns you upon landing just in case your opponents wanted an easy chance to retaliate or flash away. Yes, I'm a bit jaded. IDK how good she is or not (obviously not blatantly OP) but in general I think her R/fury design has big pointless holes. The only leg she really has to stand on is that, cosmetically, she's the dragon champ everyone was clamoring for. I didn't mean to say that like she's useless. I more meant that she isn't so blatantly overpowered that if she is good then it's going to take time for people to discover it like Irelia.
I wasn't saying Shyv is useful or useless at all... that's dictated by numbers. I was saying that the design of her fury and her R are pretty meh and as a result maybe people don't actually like playing her all that much. OFC maybe it's the blue skin?

1) I know that it's confirmed that the Dragon Form version of her Q applies on-hit effects to all targets hit. How does this interact with Sheen, for which the proc is consumed? Does it apply to only one target, or does a Sheen proc on Dragon Form Q do the bonus damage to all the targets?
You hit sheen on your primary target only. Which is why I don't like trinity force on her. Other fun facts: the first Q hit crits and can crit in an AoE like twitch ult.
Or, you know, you counter-initiate a fight by shoving a tanky initiator like Galio/Amumu back into their team (at the same time putting you right on top of their squishies). Or you shove an anti-carry out of position.
Well I guess that's a thought. I still wonder if jumping onto their squishies that great of an idea. As I said before they do get to attack you first more or less since ult damage doesn't actually count for that much, but if you cancel a galio ult it might be worth it.

As I said before they do get to attack you first more or less since ult damage doesn't actually count for that much. The way I see it, Shyvana's single-target damage is not that good. Her main draw damage-wise is that in dragon form, she has a LOT of AoE damage. So your role feels less like an anti-carry, and more of a straight AoE damage dealer, that also happens to have a ton of innate survivability.

Shyvana's pretty tanky if you get enough farm to build her right at the beginning. Her ult and w make her easy to escape deaths with, and you can also use her ulti to jump over walls to save people. Also useful for interrupting ulti channels in teamfights, since it knocks back. Multi-purpose ulti (:
Wukong was pretty good even before the buff, and now he just spins to win. I don't like the jack in the box change though, feels like it's harder to make boxfarms for super burst now.

The new hero is actually a lot of fun and is probably the fastest jungler in the entire game, allowing her a lot of time to fuck around in other lanes without losing any exp. She is also amazing with items like Wit's End and Black Cleaver. Awesome hero and a lot of fun to play.

I think what I wrote was too incoherent. Need sleep.
