If they take 0 voidling hits and immediately back off, it gives you information. If they take 3 voidling hits and realize they just lost half their HP, it gives you informatino. If they take every single voidling hit, flash into you and /dance as you kill them, it gives you information. None of that implied that Phrost assumed his opponent was incompetent. Stop projecting and read the actual contents of the post. EDIT: It's like how when Smash gives lane advice, he says "Well if they open this, then you can win the lane, but if they're smart and do X you have to play it differently." Or when Uta talks about how to punish people who play badly and how to play against competent people. Why don't you call them out in those situations? I wasn't going to bother to explain this, but thanks =]

According to that, there will be duo q, just not in soloq's system and elo, but as a team. It says you team up with SEVERAL other guys, so i guess there will be THE soloQ where eveyone is solo, and the teamQ where IDK.

I actually find that this is a good idea, with the advent of the 5-player separate queue. Really sets solo queue strats/play apart from team play.

I see him played a lot at high level, and I think he's got a lot of flexibility (build AP, AD, or Tank; can jungle or lane), so he can fit in a lot of roles, but I haven't played him at all, so I dunno. He's one of the best champions in the game. Only thing is he uses some weird rune pages (pure AD red/quints for tiger, and full AS reds + move or AS quints for phoenix) that few other champions use. The rune page difference for phoenix Udyr jungle is "what the hell this guy is absolutely awful" without the right page, and "my champions is fucking broken" when you put them in.

There's no change in strat between a duo or a solo queue. You get slightly better coordination between the two people, which is offset by being paired against a high level of opponent. At the highest levels, you get ridiculously long queues for duoing, so there's strong incentive not to. Removing duoing does destroy a sense of community because you can no longer meet people in solo queue and then play some games with them. Very few people have a group of 5 friends at an equal skill level who are regularly available to play. Most people do have at least 1 friend at their skill level they can play with. Removing duoing is shit idea.

Right now one of the best junglers in game and not too shabby in solo lane.Clear speed is lightening fast, doesn't need wriggles, fast as hell and ganks are pretty easy to execute. Udyr is my hero of choice when I go on a loosing streak and have to get that elo back. EDIT:One thing you should know tho.Someone among Riots staff thought that it would be a smart idea to put dodge runes(the best yellow choice for udyr imo by far) up for 820 IP or something like that.Like, what the fuck -_-

Also you usually have two junglers to clear because he's just THAT fast.

So would you recommend holding off on getting him until I have the runes to support him? I'm sitting on an asston of IP and want to get my money's worth from whatever I buy, so I'm just indecisive at this point. I want a good jungler, and a good tanky dps that isn't really too squishy (tired of running in and getting obliterated), who can hold his own in a fight, so I figured Udyr was a good pick.

And one more thing. He DESTROYES slow/blue first junglers at lower elo.Like its not even funny. You go your wolves-->have someone pull your blue and do some damage to it,don't use smite(you need to have your teammates cover the area so you do not get invaded)--->their wraiths--->depending on jungler either hide in red bush or go do their double golems and gank top--->port back buy boots wards and ward their jungle and gank.Tell your support that he cvs where you ping and scout out their junglers so you know where they are all the time. They wont be able to do anything and they will fall behind by 2-3 lvls because people at that elo are too stupid to just go and take your jungle if you are owning theirs.

Well, a standard jungling page is 3 armor pen quints + 6-8 AS reds (the rest being armor pen). This page works very well for champions like Warwick, Trundle, and Nocturne. So you will have to buy AS reds anyway to jungle. -Warwick: Very tanky, but not much of a presence before 6. Amazing ganks post-6 and great team utility. -Trundle: Tanky, pillar is so good, but team reliant (meaning it's not as easy to carry in solo queue as with WW/Udyr) -Rammus: Ridiculous ganks, great tank/initiator/chaser, but harder to get farm on. -Nocturne: Amazing ult, can build tanky or dps, but not naturally as tanky as Udyr/WW/Rammus. -Lee: Very good ganks and high mobility, but late game isn't as good as the others unless he really gets fed. So the choice is ultimately up to you. I personally would invest in an extra rune page for Udyr (the bundle really is worth it if you plan on playing the game for any period of time), but all the other choices are pretty good and with slightly different playstyles.

Removing duoing is shit idea. Then play normals imo if you want to duo. I liked playing ranked with a friend as much as the next guy, but not only does it really fuck with matchmaking, but it completely defeats the idea that rising through the ranks of solo queue means you are soloing your way through the system. You know how to exploit other's mistakes and to compensate for bad team-mates. Solo queue is a completely different idea from team queue (ie selfish play, herding team-mates, etc) and as such needs to be separate.

Fast, great ganks, good counter jungle, and (important for some people) cheap on the IP front. I think people really don't appreciate how strong a ranged AS/MS debuff, MS/AS buff, and free Smite is. And his Ult is just really good at low Elos where people don't focus fire, CC, or know when to run away. Reason I didn't say Nunu is because the poster wanted a "good tanky dps that isn't really too squishy (tired of running in and getting obliterated), who can hold his own in a fight" which doesn't really describe Nunu very well ![]() I just mentioned the ones that people tend to build tanky (i.e. not Trynd/Fiddle/Xin) but still have some carry potential (i.e. not Amumu/Skarner). GP is an option too but his jungling got nerfed so hard...

Yeah, not as fast as others, but considering that he doesn't have to go back as much (sup consume), I think it makes him more consistent. And if you counter jungle a lot, you'll be faster, because they'll be stopped from jungling mostly, also a plus.

Like, when Riven, Talon, Graves and Xerath all joined, people were playing them left and right, dodge queues because someone else picked them, and talked on all the forums about them. With Shyvana, people were really excited about her for like, the first day, then stopped giving a fuck. Shyvana just isn't broken like Graves.

Hm, maybe his damage isn't that high, but you can build Nunu pretty tanky and win a lot of 1v1s with Ice Blast/BB/Ult and just Consume random minions. I'd say he's pretty good, and even better in a team situation.
