My dilemma is that SC2 is shit compared to Broodwar, so if i feel like playing StarCraft i'll play BW(much like Brees) even though i mostly just play LoL

I read about karthus his animation being almost impossible to cancel or something and I don't ever find myself saying damn, wish I could animation cancel. I only do it by accident and miss cs over it sometimes~~ If you want an example of important animation canceling : Trundle : using Q juste after W will make you start attacking 1sec faster than letting W animation finish. Riven : using Q or E just after W will make it not stun you in the animation for 0.25s

A question for pant players, what do you do if your opponent comes to lane with like a full armour runepage, does it matter a lot?

21-0-9 With this setup you'll rock up in lane with 31 armpen, and possibly ~25armor/~35MR at level 1, depending on which blues you took. Unless your lane opponent specs a full armor runepage giving him +40 armor at level one (equating to ~65with masteries and base armor), then you'll be doing true damage from at least levels 1-8.

I recently picked up Kennen and am very happy with him so far. His e lets me get out of stupid positions and ganks, while his R+W combo is decent in team fights even when the early game wasn't that good. But I am not sure on which yellow runes I should run on him. Are the energy regen ones worth the ip? I rarely run out of energy... only in very drawn out team fights. So armor runes to make him tankier? Or should I get ap/level yellows? Also I have a few friends that started playing LoL this week. Can anyone recommend a guide covering the basics? So far I basically told them to kill as many creeps as possible and only buy runes after they hit summoner level 20. Also dropped a link to the guide section of solo mid.

It just seems so completely pointless. It's a cheap upgrade to revolver (if you're going the revolver->wota->deathcap path), helps out your AP carry (since fiddle is generally not the main AP carry of the team), allows you to do major objectives easily (very easy to 2-man baron early on with fiddle), and also makes you deceptively hard to kill if your drain isn't interrupted. Overall if you're going to be building revolver at all (instead of drings), it's worth it to upgrade to wota before getting a deathcap. If you're just getting a kage's pick and some drings it's better to just rush deathcap or zhonya.

Salce used to run energy/lvl yellows because he felt he needed them to keep up with bluebuff for manabased mages.

http://liquidlol.wikispaces.com/NewbieFAQ kennen yellows optimally should be hp/lvl or ap/lvl, but armor or dodge runes should suffice as they're not as important rune slots as reds/blues/quints for kennen
