I've done quite well but I don't feel like I'm playing him to his max potential and I have no idea if my CV's are done properly or not, any suggestions?
It's would be easier for us to determine if your cv's are good or not if you provide a replay. Otherwise, you can take a look at Xpecial's support overview http://www.solomid.net/guides.php?g=6097 to get an idea of the usual times/places.

It makes me question whether I should just accept it and become fully enveloped in LoL and have Sc2 as my secondary game.

I find that to be a scary concept. StarCraft is my being.

I started playing LoL when the SC2 beta went down in preparation for release.. I got SC2 but it's been a secondary game ever since the beta, haven't ever really done much laddering or played much of it since beta ;/

What's the importance of animation cancelling? I read about karthus his animation being almost impossible to cancel or something and I don't ever find myself saying damn, wish I could animation cancel. I only do it by accident and miss cs over it sometimes~~

I am guilty of this too, I played LoL for like a week straight cause I was having a rough go of it in SC2 and I haven't played SC2 since (8 weeks WTF?). I keep putting it off cause now I know I will just get pissed because I am so rusty.

I am glad to know I'm not the only one. Puts my mind somewhat at ease.

That's a cool core (get rid of Nashors tooth), however you should adjust your items to the situation. There are spots where Taric can get away with Sorcboots and loads of situations where WotA / Starks >>> Aegis.
That+proper warding and understanding how the common botlane matchups work helps a lot.
Taric isn't as hard as Alistar where one bad combo kills both of you, but a wasted stun is still a wasted stun.

You might stop watching all sc tourneys etc eventually aswell, it's what happened to me a few weeks after I stopped playing it:p

I kept watching both until pro-SC2 became a Terrancraft 2.0.
I still love SC2, but TvTs can be really boring when that's all you see, especially if you're a Protoss player. TvT has some of the best games, but they're also the most boring.

I was looking at his ratios and none of them are as good as they used to be so I thought a Nashors Tooth would give me the "best of both worlds" and yes I just said that.

You might stop watching all sc tourneys etc eventually aswell, it's what happened to me a few weeks after I stopped playing it:p Same. I haven't even watched any SC2 for probably a month. LoL is just a more fun game than SC2 to play. I can't describe it. LoL can be really boring to watch but when you enjoy playing it, then it's much better and educational besides. The WE v eHOME series was amazing to watch though.
Edit: it's not even that MOBAs are more fun than RTSes. I played DotA ages back because all my friends did so, but I hate it to this day. I dunno what special sauce Riot used but it just works.

I love tastosis too much to move, they're the only reason im still watching SC2 :/
