Yeah, but so was Orianna. Lee Sin and Singed might be better examples for the unkillability factor, but I'm very skeptical of Mordekaiser being that much more broken than any of the recently nerfed top tier champions. Hell, Singed just got a fairly significant buff. | ||

He's kinda tough without items, but he's not the unstoppable derp train until he's built. Lee Sin is strong, maybe too strong. He's next in line for a nerf I feel, but they might have to bring him up elsewhere if they take out his sustain. Morde.... wasn't bad for better players. Just don't engage him when you're low, and don't engage him near creeps where he could fill up his shield. He was unharassable early game, but didn't really have way too much damage at that point so it wasn't a problem. Now, he's very harassable, but still snowballs pretty well if you're good with him. What do I know, though, I don't really play him :\ Friend mains him, he's not too concerned. | ||

As for Orianna, she's like crazy popular and people everywhere were crying out about how Riot sucks for nerfing her. I also think that Riot probably likes her uniqueness and wants her to stay viable so they're being careful not to over nerf. Lots of people hate Morde. Even after the nerfs, last night one of my friends claimed that Morde is still bullshit and stupid OP and they should just remove him from the game. Pre-nerf I think that Morde's shield in lane just made most of the playerbase really annoyed and they felt like they just couldn't do anything to Morde in lane. Which is honestly kind of true, he was a bitch to lane against. I think it has a lot more to do with making their fans happy as it does with balance. | ||

I wasn't really expecting that large of a fundamental change, especially when other champions people consider 'problems' seem to come off with less. | ||
