Actually there is a reason why junglers gank the agressive guy (who is about to kill enemy aka being baited into gank) instead of the safe laning guy. Not to mention that aggro play usually means you are far from ur tower and your wave is usually pushing

...and now we're back to what Southlight mentioned a few pages back about solo Q attitude.
If you treat your team like retards, they will behave like retards.
It's pretty much..
"OMFG GANK TOP FUCKING JUNGLE" vs "Meh, I need some help top. Can you come soon WW?"
A similar example: I had one game earlier where we had Brand vs Swain mid and I watched them play at lvl 2-4 and that Brand played SO FUCKING GOOD (dodging stuff, predicting where Swain moves when) and he got FB.
Their jungle started pressuring mid and I kept ignoring it since Brand was about 30cs and 1-0 in lead even though he had to back twice after being ganked (he literally juked every single skillshot like a boss).
Our top/bot were losing at this point so I just pressured those lanes 24/7 and eventually turned them. The entire game Brand was yelling at me that I'm a fucking scrub jungle, he's getting ganked all day etc. bla. pp. (he was on ignore pretty soon =P)
Personally I'm a huge believer that ganking winning lanes is a very, very stupid idea unless you literally got nothing else to do / it's very easy to do (meaning: without your ult).
Basicly, if I'm ever jungling in your game and you're 3-0 top with 40 cs lead I will never, never fucking gank that lane any time soon, no matter how much their jungle camps it. - As long as bot/mid aren't winning similarly hard.
I'd be happy to have a raping top and rape the shit out of their buffs/other lanes since their jungler is busy trying to gank a lane that's way beyond recovery. Why? Because his top yelled all day and he listened.
Similarly, if for some reason one of my solos is 0-3 with 40cs behind I rarely gank those lanes either without calling the other solo to help gank it. Why? No point in feeding a doublekill to someone who's 3-0. Either mid helps or I'd tell them to abandon tower and farm at T2.
In all these scenarios people bitch at the jungle all day long when, in fact, he's cutting edges to gain advantages somewhere else.

The only time you should expect ganks is when you are in a really bad MU (Singed vs Teemo) but not constant ganks. Expecting constant ganks is going to put your jungler behind a lot.
I am not really a big jungler since my favourite junglers got nerfed but I do sometimes. With proper wards you can often counter gank someone who is winning. But it retarded when people complain on the jungler for not ganking when you have 0 ward and push the lane.

I don't think I ever ganked bot, or mid more than once (only to scare the Anivia since I knew he'd escape anyway) in my last game, got a counter-counter-jungle at top since I stole wraiths and minigols from Amumu he had no other choice than to go steal mine, Jax got first blood on him, his blue buff, and he was behind one level during the whole jungle after that. Ganked top when Jax came back the roundabout way after recalling and I got pushed while holding the lane for him.
I don't think those were bad decisions either since they put pressure on top and their blue buff (stole it at least twice during the jungle, killing Amumu and Anivia on one occurrence), plus bot did well and these combined made Anivia pressured and he got out-csed badly even after level 6. So we got drake, stole their buffs, got some kills, it was something like 13-7 and towers to 0 at 20 minutes. Still took us twice that time to finish it but that's because Anivia/Blitz/Amumu too good to defend towers.
Man, jungling's harder than laning, but so much fun when your team's coordinated.

Junglers are just like healers in WoW.
They rarely do their job right but god forbid you ask them to do it properly because you should be glad they are willing to do it to begin with.
A good jungler can easily crush a game. There is a degree of cooperation required in that you can't expect jungler support when you are constantly pushing but the vast majority of junglers will simply refuse to gank lanes that are obviously asking for a gank.
Junglers, more then any other role, suffer from people that can't make proper judgement calls. Jungleing is all about judging the situation. Is the lane pushed to far? Should you keep farming? Is there going to be a gank that you need to prevent?
It's too much for most players. On the lane all you need to judge is wether you can go for the kill or not.
But if you aren't very good at jungleing you can always bypass all this and just play Lee Sin and 1-shot people under their tower at level 2.
But in all seriousness jungler is probably the hardest role and it shows purely by the ammount of people that think jungler means farming the jungle.

Once in long while, man hears voice of truth
Man knows he speak the truth
Man have the voice of god
This be that man, for that time. You be all listening or you be all fools.

Do you think I would mind if the jungler helped us dominate both mid and bot? Of course that's a good tradeoff. What I really don't understand is the OMG HOW CAN I EVER GANK IF YOU PUSH THE LANE ALWAYS when that's like the best time to gank when you can go to the brush behind the wave and kill the enemy solo top almost 100% of the time because no one expects that.
(The only jungler I've ever played with who's done that with me is Kerp and you really shouldn't need a 2400 elo player to do that)

Ryze arguing with jax over going solotop and garen getting clairity.
Hello 1300 ELO.

Brush ganking is high risk high reward. It can be VERY easy to smell for somebody who expects it If they keep the lane pushing he just wastes time. If you're pushing lane you probably don't need help either. Jungling is about keeping losing lanes under control not about trying to get kills. If you're dominating your lane you should tell your jungler to fuck off every time he comes (I do) and help other lanes. You're playing to win remember.

Jungle is the hardest role in the game. Hell, I could lane against Jiji solo mid and not die. I may not get anywhere near the same cs as him, but I know enough to not die.
Jungling? If I had to go against OddOne I would be underleveled, have no where near the same gank presence, and probably lose jungle control after doing blue.
The thing people forget about jungling is that you have to juggle the need of 3 lanes AND yourself. Constant ganking doesnt accomplish anything and only sets you back. Not ganking the right opportunities just ends in the jungle and the lanes failing miserably. And as much as the lane feels like they know the best times to gank, they really dont. A lane only sees the opponent cuz thats all they have to look at. They rarely look at the minimap to see jungle position, health, and mana, yet expect the jungle to be able to know those stats for every champ in the game. Great jungles have a decent idea of those stats. The rest of us dont. Dont expect your 1200 jungle to play like Kobe.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah you think you wouldn't die but then when you lane against his like TF you go WTF WHY IS HE LANDING SO MANY WILD CARDS and such. You would die.
|
Get home, new splash screen, server message: "Enjoy dominating the Crystal Scar!"
I think it's time I started massing ranked games :D
|
you won't die if you zone yourself and end up 3 levels behind and be at the same disadvantage as if you did die. if you lose lanes vs people hundreds of elo below jiji you will lose vs jiji, lol@ thinking differently.
|
No. I wouldnt die. In the extreme I could just stand at tower the whole freakin time and soak up whatever exp I could grab. Boom, not dead. And by never last hitting the waves would stay at my tower so I would not be exp zoned.
Its hard to win a lane, its really not all that hard to not lose one if you play the right character.
|
It's not that hard to not die in lane if you dont care about losing it. Just back more often and play safe and gave up some cs.
|
ok, so you end up with the same disadvantage in gold and experience as if you did die, not to mention you will die if you get ganked, unless you literally don't go out of tower range all game, in which case I still think you'll die.
