Ok, I'll count it as an improvement. I guess I had a better impression of the old one in my mind.
BUT THAT HEAD! I look at it and it just feels so terribly wrong. Don't ask me why, I can't put my finger on it. It bugs me.
The old art was at least consistently bad.

It's probably a case of uncanny valley.

He also basically got +167 damage on his lvl 16 ult since it will now deal at least 500 instead of 333 damage at the border.
Plus the higher chance to hit someone with it in the first place.

Yes, so if base damage is 13 and you have + 12 damage from your AD, 1 tick of HSS will do 25 damage to minions and 50 to champions.

I'm pretty sure it's a homage to a scorpion irl. I mean cmon Riot if you're gonna copy something so closely atleast change it so its not that similar. The claws, the tail, the legs, cmon man be more original. And then stabbing people with his tail? That's all real scorpions do!
