I really wouldn't count valve out for making another amazing game, remake or not. But the development of Dota 2 is being lead by Icefrog, the person that develloped Dota for the last few years where i think LoL was created by a previous designer on Dota and a guy that ran the biggest fan site for Dota. All the guy has really done is develop Dota and that is for the most part a 1-man job. Not like Valve's best and brightest are heading the project, it's a guy that has never created a full game before. | ||

See, i love Dota 1 but this preview? It just sounds like a MAJOR patch for Dota and nothing else? And "best" Heroes... Dota has the best and some of the worst. I would argue that the "average" Hero in LoL is more interesting than in Dota... Some Heroes in Dota are just really boring (not necessary weak by any means, just pretty boring to play...). | ||
