You just harass with Vlad and regen back up in a few seconds and go again. Once you are sitting on a fat full hp bar and the enemy is at half you can start doing crazy dives and push people out of the lane with enormous ease. I played Vlad myself for a while and there really isn't any champion with wich you can so easily win a lane. He isn't unbeatable (that honour goes to Jarvan) but he is without a doubt the easiest champ to deny exp and gold with. If you don't have a proper champ (a strong laner) then you are just fucked. Vlad can probably beat half the roster every single time in 1v1. | ||

Man up and suck at using a mouse for a week, you won't regret it. Edit: If you're baby man go to control panel->mouse and fuck with settings there or see if your mouse has it's own control panel (razor mice do). | ||

It is very easy to get used to no acceleration, because moving your mouse a certain distance will move the cursor a proportional distance every single time. | ||

(same goddamn reasons as guitar listed too, true on almost every point) oh don't i know it i hate rumble too but luckily no one plays rumble (except severity gaming, to abuse top lane) ironically the last time i DIDN'T ban vlad i ended up picking him, cause i was like lolfreewin. the enemy team cp'd rumble and also grabbed taric. instead of sending taric bot with their jarvan immediately, they had him camp top brush and zoned me while rumble farmed. by the time i could touch exp, rumble was 4, i was 1, taric went back bot, and i just got absolutely abused every time i tried to get a last hit. really embarassing game. | ||

He's unbelievably terrible before lvl 9 so you can deny and harrass him pretty hard. It just is lame that after he gets lvl 9 and Revolver you can't do a thing against him and need to farm whatever you can. You should have an advantage early game, I don't think Vlad beats any decent laner lvl 1-8. | ||

So my tip to those of you who play vs him, play like u would if you play 1v2 just be defensive, never engage and try to farm with some ranged kind of person, don't engage with the ranged far out from your tower either. As rumble gets lvl 6 especially he's very dangerous and can kill basically everyone. Just let him do his thing get some creep kills and all, don't push out and take what you can. As long as you don't feed him or let him get ahead you won't be having too much trouble with him late-mid lategame. If you do feed him or even lets him get 2 levels ahead of you, your screwed as long as you try to engage him even 2v1 so just don't and you will still be fine later as long as the rest of your team is doing well. He's good lategame, IF you screw up early game but the same is true if rumble screws up early game, he's crap lategame. Also if you ever are to engage do that as he has just overheated or is at around 90 or so heat and have just cast a spell. Edit: Another general tip, is if you 2v1 him top... be careful when he reaches lvl 6 cause he can crush both of you if you are level 4-5. In addition, he might need a nerf and that imo would be to increase his overheat cooldown so he's useless for a longer time. Or decrease damage on flame and on overheating but making his heat go down faster so it's more about keeping a certain heat level and keeping up skill instead of just overheating all the time for the best effect. Oh, btw try to use brand as somewhat of a disabler vs rumble, sure you might not gank him without any help from jungler or such but if you play very carefully you will not lose in creep kills or level either thus canceling him out basically. Other chars I can think of that can handle him well so to say is maybe morde and some others which I cannot think of now. Melee is a big nono! | ||
