First one morales goes crybaby after a few minutes and continue to only heal minions for the rest of the game. Reason was we didnt want to "play as team". Easy loss. Second one liming misses every single teamfight on Tower of doom. Easy loss. Third game was an easy win as it was demotion game and you dont really lose those unless you get a troll that sabotage the game. | ||

Granted this games toxicity is a drop in the bucket compared to LoL so can't complain too much but fuck man why que up for HL if your just going to be a bitch? There is Quick Match for that :/ | ||

I love how last season, going 3/7 on placements made me fall 5 to 6 divisions and this season, whatever I did during placements on my my account I played vs plat 2 people, ended plat 2. Then with my smurf, same story with plat 3. Why did I even needed placement games this season ? Win 3 in a row ? Plat 2. Lose the next 5 ? Plat 2... | ||

Blizzard doesn't need to "force 50/50", they designed the game in such way that the normal state of Hero league is around 50/50, no matter what. If you are generally better than everyone else, you should expect slow steady climb - slightly bigger up swings and smaller down swings. Just like in online poker. edit: Also god bless tracers that think they are the initiator and die in the first 3 seconds of the fight. That is like 99% of the tracer population... so GOD BLESS TRACER. edit2 : The majority of people I play with in EU think that the meta comp is 3 dps and 1 tank + healer. That is the HotS version of DOTA's 2-1-2... | ||

Matchmaking has always been broken in my experience. The whole "We're bronzies/silvers and 1-2 diamond mmr and we're up against full diamond/master/GM teams" has been a consistent thing in team league and QM since I started playing over a year ago. I can be in a party with 3 people <level 40 and we're guaranteed to get plats/diamonds on the opposing side, or it's the flip side and we just curbstomp. Maybe 1/10 games are balanced. I think it's very largely due to a limited player pool (I'd say QM is rocking maybe 20-40 people tops at late night in the US, between the repetition of names and 10-25 minute long queue times) and an extremely heavy bias to the highest mmr contributor of a party. It's kind of irritating, because I would like to have more balanced games at my skill level and actually learn more about the game than just the mechanics that passed on from BW/League, but I prefer to play with the people I know (or their friends even, just anyone in a group) despite the horrible loss streaks because literally every single pubby we get is a toxic shit that makes League of Legends look good. I've had people leave for so much as hatting them, and the sight of seeing someone stop moving shortly followed by a string of angry gibberish is as commonplace as can be. It's pretty amazing when the one pubby that doesn't rage ends the game with a comment along the lines of "at least no one whined". As it is, if I don't have a full party, I simply don't play most of the time. The posts in this thread only reinforce my mindset to never solo queue or HL under any circumstance. Despite all that it's amazing how many people at allegedly high levels of play don't understand poke, talent counterpicking, vision and positioning. I see objectively far superior mechanical players get completely destroyed by people who've only played the game for a day or two just because dat thirst. My favorite is stabbing people to death from minions, or the all-in Li-Ming auto-attack Q build I took up to counter release tracer and just stuck with ever since. | ||

For such a small community the amount of trolls/leavers/flamers is extremely high. And I'm talking about ranked... You know, the mode in which everything is serious. Needless to say, I'm demoted... Yeah these games are totaly representative of my skill level. Might as well replace Hero league with Luck league. edit: yeah 2 more games like that. At this point... Fuck it, why should I bother. There are better things to do in life. When Blizzard fix their game I might check it again . | ||

I had very small luck with bad / good players (I would get idiots 2ce in a row with me and good players 2ce vs me). I played with this guy, Yuske, very good as KT. We win. Next time he's the other team and he gets KT. But we have Russian Sylvanas who fed all game, had no siege and no damage on Spiders. We lose hard. Next game I again play versus Yuske (damn) and with Russian Sylvanas (you kidding me?) who this time takes KT because if the opponent wrecked us with KT, it's because he's OP. Well, he ended at 22k DPS. TBH he didn't die much so I appreciated that. But he ended 8th or so DPS of the whole game. Oh and this guy, Yolo Rehgar who would poke 1 v 5 all game, bites, loses 80% life (he didn't die much doing it) and retreat. It's killing your own team as you lose more than you trade, and the whole team constantly is disturbed by it, pinging back, coming to assist then in the end he escapes and so. We win BY SHEER LUCK. Next game I have him again. And he locked Rehgar when we could get Malf but he didn't let the other guy heal. Played like crap, didn't listen all game, got reported by the whole team. I had no luck with idiots this week end. But I discovered Taunt Varian and I like him. | ||

Then I spent the rest of the game being called a retard useless Tass by a Crowd Control Muradin, Hinterland Falstad and a Thrall without a single Q talent. I hope one of you is reading this and will stab his eyes out with a fork, you dead ends of evolution. | ||
