I lost all 10 of my placement matches because of these people who self-admittedly never really played the game. My favorite of the bunch was the "see an enemy, proceed to engage no matter the circumstances" Muradin with haymaker. I've never been below diamond 3 before, but so far gold 1 is an interesting experience (1 game away from promotion game, so thankfully it'll be over soon).

With all the new players, HL is currently too hazardous, even during the week. All games are one sided because of idiots.
On a side note, Blizzard needs to reward individual skill fast before losing the people who put time and energy into HL.
Let me explain with two of my IRL friends: Charles is pretty good, he can play at diamond with no problems, Charles ended Silver 1 in TL. George is a total beginner with no skill at all, probably bronze level. George ended Plat 5 in TL.
If I just check my IRL friends, noone is at his supposed solo rank, or even TL rank for what it's worth. Now this is the 6 or 7 people I know in real life, I'm sure there's a lot of people like that.
If next season I play in TL because I wanted to duo queue and I get matched with George, I'm not going to enjoy myself very much.
MM sucks too much.

10 wins, then I get a thrall who is completely clueless and goes 0-0-5
Followed by a game where our highest MMR player who is valla gets an early disconnect, and the game won't let him in because it needs to be patched. (And the game started without it)
Fucking brilliant.
And the third game in a row I have a ming who is literally walking around solo super deep dying all the time (Not sure if intentionally feeding or if a master level player can be that retarded?)
And a chen who tries to engage 14 v 16 & 3v5 and blames me for trying to soak xp instead when there was 0 reason to fight (last player, = ming, was dead)
Fourth match, we lose a game we're insanely ahead in because people start taking retarded solo conquests without team and end up getting destroyed.
Oh, and mind control sylvanas. Because mind control is so fucking amazing when you have the only ranged dps in the team doing no damage.

The matchmaking is trash right now. Played 3 HL games today. 2 were free wins. No fun at all.
We lost the 3rd game because: the game disconnected on my computer, and the bnet client too. It doesn't come from my connection this time BTW. So, I lost 2 minutes to reconnect. Oh, but we didn't lose because of that. We got Tyrande 1st pick who said he'll go OWL / DPS and we needed another healer. So we got another healer. Then Tyrande picks ALL FUCKING HEAL TALENTS, EVEN SHADOWSTALK. We got wrecked. They had Varian, Tyrande never owled a boss in the whole game.
No fun in that game either.

Can MMR match making be at least somewhat better? I'm on one of the worst QM losing streaks I've ever had (13 losses to 3 wins) and I MVP roughly 25% of the time, there is just always that fucking one guy who obviously has never played their hero or who is constantly feeding, makes the game pretty not fun when you stomp at best or not feed at worst and your team still get's curb stomped.
Oh, and the new heroes are all total cancer, poorly designed trash, besides just being imba or not they are terrible to play against. Samuro has his mirror image self cleans haste stealth crap, Tracer is blinking all over the place, Varian is like an even more a click noob Super Sonya. The designers are turning it into SC2 where they think everything has to be exceptionally fast and click frenzy to be fun.

5 losses in a row, and down to demotion match from promotion a few days ago!
How? Mostly drafts, like triple melee into gazlowe, Cho'gall on blackheart's bay, but also stupid throws like not focussing core with level 21 DK or bringing core to 21% then being wiped. Bad teams vs bat teams is simply not fun. Last game, the kill ding for our team was sounding constantly, especially on Sylvanas always venturing off in the wrong place, or taking on hammer 1on1.
And why can't people follow a simple ping or piece of advice? Guy says: together as 5 from now, 10 seconds later, sylv ganked alone invading a merc camp. Am I really belonging in the same league as these morons?

How to not win games:
1) Watch the player carrying your team save a really bad situation
2) You have an advantage, and the carry player is telling you to do X. Go do Y instead.
3) Get destroyed because you did Y.
4) Whine that it was "bg"
I don't know what the fuck it is but every time I play Li-Ming my team is filled with fucking imbeciles.
Every single game I get stats like 8-5-1 or similar, topping at least 2 out of 3 siege/xp/hero dmg, often all three of them.
BUT I JUST CAN'T FUCKING WIN GAMES WITH THESE PEOPLE BEING SO TERRIBLE
E: How to win games according to high master players:
1) Chase the enemy 3v4 with level 8 against level 10
2) Contest enemy doing camps 2v3 with level 11 against level 13
3) Proceed to get owned in every single one of those trades and blame the player who told you not to do that
4) You didn't actually win.

I hate players who DC so fucking much at this point.
If your internet is crap, you do not get to play Heroes of the Storm.
You don't just get to ruin the game for the four other players on your team.
Get it fixed, play vs AI or go do something else.
A single disconnect where you come back is fine, that can happen.
But players who just never come back get a report every single time.
If my internet was wonky for whatever reason I do not go and play a team game.
You take a risk going in for four other players who depend on you not being a worthless bot.
Wish Blizzard would implement harsher things against players who are just gone for a significant portion of the game.

If you get a party against no party, the system matches a lower mmr party with higher mmr randoms to compensate.

My fouth silence incoming, lets see if it gets overtuned(the last three did). Its still really really tiresome to get silenced, no HL=No point playing hots=You have to wait for your ticket to be answered. Complete bullshit.
Just talked livechat withsomeone on another errand and then i just asked if he perhaps could look into it since the webticket usually takes so long and what the fuck did i get, i got a bullshit general answer that every silence is reviewed and looked at before you get silenced and my next silence will end at x.x.x.
I hate this system so much, and then THEY LIE TO ME. They can go fuck themself truly

I confirm it. Playing a lot of duo queue HL, it's always harder although it shouldn't be. We usually have the same number or more potatoes than red team, assuming us 2 aren't potatoes ^^.
And then I go solo queue, pick Chen vs 3 melee Tychus and we murder them although we should get stomped. This really works poorly.

Perhaps you can clarify for me: Is the no-HL imposed for the duration? Can you play low-prio ques to get out of it? Or do you literally have to wait for it to expire?

It sounds fair. Not the fact that you get silenced often, of course. But it seem fair to block HL for the silenced people until they can clear them. Most won't be cleared at all anyway.
What's strange is, with chat disabled, you shouldn't get that much reports. Maybe there's a problem with your account ? Reports are supposed to decay with time, so less and less reports mean your account becomes cleaner with every passing day.

Why shouldnt i get that many reports? People report you for anything, one disagrees with your pick, your play and he will report you.

I dont even know what i did wrong, such a good system telling you you did something bad, but not what that can be.
No curses, or flaming or anything 100%.
I said "tank" once in draft. Letting the player know i want a "tank".
I also once said "need ranged damage"
I did that once.
So my last three silences got overtuned(this is my fourth). On the first of those three, it got denied in webticket.
I had to contact live chat for it to get overtuned.
Getting mistreated like this truly suck. We live in an unfair world and this occurs bloody everywhere.
EDIT: Just contacted Live chat. The silence is gone now, it took him like 5+ min to check it out. Forth silence removed now in 6~ weeks or so.
