Hahah, that quest is going to last a long time in my quest log it seems. Sgt. Hammer is a specialist If you aren't level 12 or 15 yet then you can use autoselect to get these heroes if you're intent on finishing your quest. Note that auto select is randomly choosing between the 7 free heroes and any other heroes you own so it may take a bunch of games to finish. Oh good to know, thanks. Yeah, i didn't get hammer, probably for the reason you are saying.

Sometimes there is that stupid combination of low dps/CC on your team and high survivability/escape on the enemy team... I feel like in those games Gorge doesn't do much. Also a few heroes have access to Relentless, which halves the duration of Gorge.

I don't like how stealth works in this game, if you don't happen to have one of the heroes who have detection with you you are fucked. I was trying to learn how to play Valla but two games in a row I was camped by invis Nova and the third game it was Zeratul, and I hate how there is nothing I can do to catch those assholes off guard.

Actually you can use splash damage ability. As i remember Valla has one.

That's not true. Just learn to pay more attention. Stealth heroes are easy to spot when you actually look for them, they can be seen just like DTs or Observer in sc. With Valla, multishot in the direction of the stealth hero and boom, he's out of stealth. EZPZ.

Oh, so damage brings them out of stealth? I didn't realise that, I thought they had to attack to break invisibility.

Also Spell Shield @13 makes a huge difference against Nova/Zera

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Sometimes it just feels like Stiches is putting out massive damage, so it seems if necessary I'll just play the melee assassin role. Also with pugs... well sometimes they manage to do no damage with Valla or whatnot.

The reason why Stitches is putting out massive damage is that Slam has such a huge range that it does high damage and a DoT to the entire enemy team quite frequently, not to mention putting a DoT on everyone that hits him, and having the single highest single target damage spell in the game in Gorge (which is fucking ridiculous, why did that get buffed?) Apart from Gorge he has no burst.

I don't know how you made it, im starting to think tis more luck based, cause before ranked i had 60+ winrate and now i have around 40% and don't play ranked if im not in a party.
Also, i just found Zeratul kills thrall pretty easily, and brightwing is also a hard counter.

Rewind polymoprh is the hard counter to any hero.

it gets pretty hard when u rank up, i was getting like 40-50 pts per win. gets pretty brutal when ur solo q'ing :D

So what is the best heal-based support? Uther?

Brightwing at the moment. Uther is better for burst healing on a single target, but BW just does so much AOE healing it's insane.

Edit: if you want a pure healer, then Lili and Rehgar are better than both. They just bring less utility overall.

Started playing this game a bit more recently and damn i'm having lots of fun with Tyrande, maxed her levels already. Basically all her abilities are skillshots and she's very versatile imo, makes her gameplay really interesting.

It's not probably Brightwing, it's definitely Brightwing.
Before the last few patches, it was kind of debatable.
Since, while Uther still has a great level 20 talent option, the loss of resurgence hurt him, too.
And the rewind change was a big buff to Brightwing because double Poly became a thing.
Uther has the advantage with ults but it's not because Divine Storm is better than Emerald Wind, I personally think Divine Storm is better before 20 and Emerald Wind is better at 20+. The reason Uther has the advantage is because with the necessity of Cleanse Brightwing sometimes needs to go Blink Heal instead and Uther only has to give up Clairvoyance for Cleanse.

I dunno, the 2 extra winds aren't quite as good as Storm Shield IMO. Overlooked but amazing burst healing talent that can make you win teamfights where they get good ults off.

double poly is insanely broken, if you ever wanna make a tychus feel completely useless just double poly his odin and have someone like tass shrink ray him afterwards, it basically turns into a 5v4 teamfight and they lose out on one of their biggest damage dealers/tank.
They really need to remove rewind from BW, its as big of a problem as it was with Anub. They should replace it with like shrink ray or something.. you'd still get same type of single target utility that you would w/ double poly, only its just a bit weaker.
