Certainly over a short enough period MMR changes are meaningless, that is one of the frustrations with the system for those who cannot consistently grind. Individual matches have far more consequence.

did they just decide randomly how expensive the heroes are? looks like it's not really correlated to release date

edit : also the elo thing discussion is ridiculous. It is the same for all games, even if this is a team game if you are good you will gain elo, no matter what hero you play. I haven't lost a game with lili if I remember correctly and I play only solo or duo.

At times also focusing on map objectives and ignoring him could pay off as its much harder to push against a Garden Terror, Curse or Dragon Knight.

This evening I loaded up blizz launcher and lo and behold, I'm in! To all that don't have access yet, hold strong! this sad plea tore at my heart strings. i woulda just given u one of the 4 BNet accounts i have in the alpha. and its not everyone and their violin.. its everyone and their italian uncle. hardly any one has a violin. pretty sure Heroes of the Storm will be in full general release in 2015. It was mentioned about 284289 times during the ATVI investor call how they would have "9 franchises" at the end of 2015. So the beta should follow right after Blizzard recovers from releasing the Warlords of Draenor expansion.

As everybody else is saying, MMR records your personal impact by means of using you as a constant and milling through lots of random teammates/enemies. It might rise slower than you like, but if your winrate is <50%, you are less good than other players at your current MMR over the period you're calculating the winrate. I stopped playing LiLi when I got her to level 5, I agree with the guy who likened "elo hell" to tar and that no matter your skill you will struggle to get a 55% win ratio and above, except I would say that only applies to Li LI at this moment. Anyway moving on. Saving up some gold, what should I go for? Poll: What should the gold go to? Buy the Pig (2) Buy Anub (2) Buy solid 2k-4k Heroes (Malf Raynor Tass) (1) Buy Murky (0) Buy Brightwing (0) Buy Zeratul (0) 5 total votes Your vote: What should the gold go to? (Vote): Buy solid 2k-4k Heroes (Malf Raynor Tass)

Overview of hero stats You can change around the level and sort by colums you wish. May contain errors, I copied most of the data from an older version, added the latest heroes and fixed some obvious mistakes the previous person made like screwing up attack speed and attacks per second. Didn't check all numbers. Makes it easier to do some theorycraft, for example: Which heroes have the best DPS based on basic attacks? Could be useful perhaps for deciding which heroes match well with Rehgar's Bloodlust or ETC's trait. Also useful to know to determine how good a lifeleach talent would be on the hero. Answer: + Show Spoiler + Tychus, Raynor, Valla in that order edit: mana I left out because all the heroes with mana have exactly the same pool and regeneration. Only costs of spells is used here to differentiate between mana hungry heroes and others. Not a bad design choice though it's different for interpreting the power of abilities that give mana like malfurion's trait.

Answer: + Show Spoiler + Tychus, Raynor, Valla in that order Tychus doesn't benefit near as well as Valla does from Bloodlust. Raynor should be #1 with the right talents. Answer why: + Show Spoiler + Because he already has near max autoattack and a +% AS does a lot less for him, plus Valla has on hit talents so she gains more from Attack Speed than any other stat. Raynor has the highest autoattack damage in the game as well as the longest range AND (IIRC) Bloodlust affects the Banshees. So it should be Raynor, Valla, Tychus. Though Tychus does beat Valla if Valla goes arrow build instead of on-hit AND he's in the Odin when Bloodlust goes off.
