*edit* Two Swedish channels are apparently covering it but I doubt it will be as good as some international station.

I don't get any international news stations on my TV and none of the Swedish stations are doing a full coverage :/ *edit* Two Swedish channels are apparently covering it but I doubt it will be as good as some international station. Most US cable news networks will likely stream their evening broadcasts online. Hell, they did it during the primaries so you have to assume they'll do it during the general. Ok, just checked and CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are already streaming live coverage. Figured they'd wait til polls started closing, but shows what I know.

Despite my general support for democrats, I mock idiots on both sides freely. I see. Yes, I do not have much time for the "truthers", and I shiver at the prospect of getting into any discussion on that topic. This particular campaign has exposed the irrationality of the lunatic fringe like never before, actually. Obama's name and racial origin have been rather like a black rag to a bull *cough*, really inciting a lot of craziness.

Indiana polls close at 7 as well, and Ohio polls close at 7:30, so we should get know relatively early if we're looking at a close race or a fast Obama victory. On November 05 2008 01:44 Orome wrote: When are the first results expected? About 2-3 hours from now, right? Switzerland is what? 5-6 hours ahead of Eastern time? So most polls won't start closing until 1-2ish at night? edit: I know in the primaries some states extended poll closing times due to turnout. I have no idea if this happens in general elections, but it's probably fairly plausible. In that case, polls could be going really late :s

Already this morning there is a lot of reporting on the 'broken' election system and how people are waiting for hours to cast their votes. But I'm happy to hear that it's not a constant =]
