That is kinda scary actually... reverse psychology I hope?

People of McCain's age should do what the eldest always did in any society i.e. sit, give counseling and sound opinion based on their life experiences rather than try to lead. Leadership should always fall in the hands of those in society, that have still a long future ahead, i.e. in a position they still have everything to lose if they don't perform. Leadership should always fall on those young enough to survive it and handle its competing contenders. Leadership should always fall on the best and the brightest. Leadership should always fall on those that can control their emotions and keep a level head.
I can see dementia way before the untrained eye can; it's kind of sad too, he used to be a sharp guy. Anyway, I will vote for the younger candidate that has more congruent ideas and intellect to hold them to the storm fire that will come upon us the next 5 years. This notion that the ancient should be allowed to lead is not natural or wise - for good reason too.

I think he meant the people that weren't doing that stuff, like the former military personnel there, and such.
Does anyone know the site that the moderator mentioned where you can re-watch the debates?

Then it was a non-sequitur. Who was talking about them?

obama just kicked the shit out of mccain in the final debate. or maybe its better to say mccain kicked the shit out of himself and obama just did his own awesome thing. McCain strikes me as slightly crazy / aggressive lol. Obama for President! He has my vote!

Obama's macro and forward planning is starting to show. What can you do against someone who can afford to fight in every single state at once?
|
Maybe Fox thinks it's already decided and they do like to suck up to the government. Maybe they thought this way they would get a good head start?

They're both unhinged, wanting to be president of a country with over 10 trillion dollars in debt. Am I the only one wondering why Obama is bothering to run for president? With the skills he's shown in organising his campaign, he'd make a lot more money in the private sector.

a) because he wants to do some good in the world.
or
b) because power's a bigger lure than money.

Joe the plumber was mentioned 11 times at the beginning of the debate, nine times by McCain and twice by Obama.

It is hard to imagine, but I'm considering going to graduate school in obscure research fields instead of medical or law school. (Both of which interest me)
Reason? I think it is more important to work on things that will benefit our society than things that are just hard technical jobs that pay a lot of money (anesthesiology for instance).
I would imagine Barack was a constitutional lawyer, and saw that he could do something with his life that would make an impact on the world stage instead of fighting for paychecks for himself.

I know personally, my thoughts are: life is short, I'd rather make a dent in history
I think those kinds of thoughts help motivate people to sacrifice people to act selflessly
