The movie had its good action parts and moments but basically it was just AvP with more horror and action, with pregnant women getting infested and babies getting eaten by Aliens (They don't show the babies getting eaten but women in bed getting impregnated by Aliens with Alien off-spring emerging from their stomachs) other then that, it wasn't anything special and not even close to a real Protoss vs Zerg matchup.
Was there a hybrid of the 2 races like it showed at the end of AvP1?
If yes, was the hybrid showed much?
If yes, was it much stronger than the two like in Underworld?

Yes there was the predallion, predator-Alien hybrid, which is the only hybrid (given so far) besides the queen to infest hosts with off-springs, which is very strange.

would you suggest seeing this? i wanted to see it tonight but didn't want to spend the money, so if people suggest it I'll go to the matinee to see it for $5 instead of $8.50 or whatever.

Its decent, seeing it is all up to you. I have my preferences, but if you like lots of gore and horror then I suggest you see it.

an improvement but still a horrible movie. Amazing action, aliens were awesome and the gore was top notch. The story/human characters and several plot holes all made the movie pretty "bad" in the same way AvP1 was bad. However, if they made 10 more AvP movies I would go see ALL of them since Alien/Predator were the shit I grew up on. I went to see these two alien races clashing and I was pleasantly pleased with that  Also, it was just 1 predator the entire time (which I prefer). A REAL bad ass single predator.

yeah god the way they just killed 2 preds in avp1 was so lame, is there more than half an hour of actual AvP? thats what upset me the most in the first film

I want huuuuuge scales battles with MILLIONS MILLIONS of aliens attacking the Predators fortified in some sort of fortress :p and then the humans come en they ALL get killed by the other two races because we're such a plague on this world....

it doesnt really matter to me wether or not AvP2 sucks. im gonna watch it anyways just cuz its AvP. kinda reminds me of SC ZvP lol (T got caught up in the mess lol)

I agree 100%. Well 95% actually as I would prefer to have 2-3 predators just to see the aliens kill a few of them with a single most bad ass predator be the last man standing (but not like in AvP1 that was lame).

In my opinion SC>AvP because the Protoss actually look much more awesome than the Predators while the Zerg are not as much of drooling retards as the Aliens are.

Yes they are pulsating ball sacks that resemble War Hammer 40k units remarkably. Oh no sir, dont go treading down this path. Aliens and Predators look/are amazingly cooler than anything in SC. Dont get me wrong. An ultralisk is fucking awesome (Carnifex) but nothing can beat a good ol face hugger slapping onto someones face or a predator throwing a heat seaking disc blade..
