There's the early vote advantage that might shrink once the in-person Republican votes start pouring in. It’s the inverse of the impact I was mentioning earlier re: exit polls. The votes aren’t counted in a random order so the first votes counted aren’t representative of the population as a whole.

Florida would be huge...I'm still not sure if he's got Penn though and that has me worried If anything this shows more correlation with Penn since the rural penn counties are more close to Indiana than Florida. Good opportunity for Biden to shut the door on Trump in PA. we call the middle Pennsyltucky for a reason...

Kentucky went back to red kinda figured that was going to happen myself. Regarding the increase for Biden in certain counties seems to be an encouraging signs at least for right now but that all it is at the moment.

It just ain't gonna happen. Kentucky is a deep red state nationally. The kind of ominous, truly unnatural phenomenon that might have one worrying some kind of plague may be coming to blight us all.

Dully noted Kwark. Most of the results I've been reporting are still only at about 50-60% reporting, but some of them are now hitting 80% reporting without much movement in the numbers I just said.

I really want to see Texas go blue just so we can see PG's reaction.

NYT just called Kentucky for Trump and Indiana's governor race for the GOP incumbent.
And NBC called Indiana for Trump.

With 12% reporting in? I don't get it.

That would be a net win for Dems in two different ways: more electoral votes than the reverse + setting a precedent that a modern Texas could actually continue to flip blue in the future, thus validating liberal Texans and motivating them to continue showing up to future elections.

I got surprised by that too.
16% counted and called? That's.. weird. Maybe it's normal or something, but to me as a non-american, that's weird.

Hmm, I've heard Indiana being called immediately for Trump is a bad sign for Biden. It would mean he didn't do as well in the suburbs and rural areas as thought.

It's normal.
It's based on which vote totals have been reported (their demographics, which areas are left to tally still, etc.).
There's an actual method to it, but I'm not that good at explaining it.
