Also, the FAA used to have a lot of trouble with political issues a few decades ago, so that they’re messed up under Trump isn’t too surprising.

Normally the FAA are among the most safety conscious of all aviation authorities, but in this case they are going against the precaution of every other aviation authority. Shouldn't they completely independent from politics anyways? Happened in Canada too. It's not a surprise though since both our major airlines Air Canada and Westjet use the Max 8.

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., gave the first hint Tuesday evening about when he plans to make criminal referrals as part of an investigation into alleged political bias in the FBI and Justice Department. During a Fox News interview, host Laura Ingraham asked Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, to let her viewers know when they can expect the criminal referrals to happen. "I would guess sometime in the next two, three, four weeks," he replied. Nunes also said he'd like to see what is in special counsel Robert Mueller's report for his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. The timing of that inquiry's completion is still an open question. Recent reports suggested the probe would soon wrap up, but three U.S. officials told Reuters Mueller’s team has funding until the end of September, indicating that the inquiry could last for several more months. Nunes has teased the onset of criminal referrals to the Justice Department for two months now, but has not divulged any names. In February he said the GOP minority in the House Intelligence Committee offered up the names of roughly a dozen people they want to subpoena as the Democrats revitalize the panel's Russia investigation, although he said it was doubtful the Democratic majority would cooperate. Instead, Nunes is looking to William Barr, who on Feb. 14 became attorney general, to make headway towards completing an effort begun last year by a joint GOP-led task force comprising the Judiciary Committee and the Oversight Committee. "Look, we need the new attorney general to get in there, and then we will be making criminal referrals on many people who lied to Congress and many other bad things," Nunes said. Key to this effort, which has been bolstered by intelligence panel Republicans, is investigators looking over roughly 15 transcripts of interviews conducted by the task force last year. On Tuesday, Nunes was also prompted to react to the newly revealed private testimony by former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and to the Democrats seemingly turning away from their collusion theories about President Trump in favor of investigating Trump's finances "I want to give your viewers and use some hope," Nunes said. "There are people here in Washington every day going brick by brick trying to bust down through this wall. Look, we've been doing this for two years. The House Intelligence Committee Republicans, everything we've done is now being proven to be true. Everything the Democrats have done and said in the reports and memos that have put out have proven to be false. You have them now changing their tactics from where going to go down the impeachment road to now something else. So we continue to work up at the House Intelligence Committee, we will be making several criminal referrals and we hope that the Justice Department will take these up." Nunes also reminded Ingraham's viewers about how depositions by Trump dossier author Christopher Steele and David Kramer, a longtime associate of John McCain and former State Department official, in a lawsuit brought against BuzzFeed by a Russian Internet entrepreneur will be made public as soon as March 14. Source. From my point of view, I'm not interested in Congressional referrals, and I'm even less interested in perjury charges. Anything less than criminal conspiracy charges concerning the defrauding of the FISA court or abuse of other intelligence services (or some comparable charge) will be an utter disappointment. Simply put, the DOJ needs to get in the game. My prediction when Barr got appointed was that we would know within 90 days of his appointment where all of this was going and whether he was simply going to sweep it under the rug. We're on track for knowing within that time frame. In terms of who might be charged, and aside from easy perjury-related (or lying to the feds) targets at the FBI/DOJ (Comey, McCabe, Baker and potentially some combination of Bruce Ohr, Page, and Strozk), I'll be watching for Glenn Simpson and the people within a degree of separation or two of Fusion GPS -- basically the people responsible for developing the Steele Dossier and disseminating it throughout the law enforcement and intelligence communities. In interviews, Nunes has been hinting that Steele was not, in fact, the true author of the dossier, and that his name was put on it just to give it credibility given his CI history. Some journalists/commentators who have been following this closely have speculated as such for some time now, pointing the finger variously at Nellie Ohr and Glenn Simpson. It certainly is clear enough that Nellie Ohr (who was employed by Fusion DPS) was passing information to the FBI/DOJ through Bruce Ohr, and we also know that she had contractor access to the NSA database at the time, which raises a ton of disturbing questions.

The guy from the Nunes Memo? Sorry if I don't take anything he says seriously after that piece of "selective quoting".

Like I said previously, Nunes has been proven correct by the information that has been released. Schiff, on the other hand, is looking like a fraud at best.

Just look at the case globally. Schiff has been loudly beating the drum of "there is tons of evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians" for years, yet the entire collusion narrative has been rapidly falling apart over the past few months due to 1) a complete absence of charges brought concerning Trump/Russia collusion, and 2) testimony and other evidence being leaked showing that there never was any real evidence of Trump/Russia collusion. All of this should make Democrats wonder why Schiff has been gaslighting them all of this time.

So if you ignore the fact that the Nunes Memo was absolute nonsense and ignore all the indictments and confessions and other evidences of collusion, then Nunes could still be perceived as trustworthy and there would be no reason to believe that collusion occurred? I mean, that's technically true, tautologically, sure.
