We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on. Posts of the following nature are banned: 1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post. 2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no. 3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture. 4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments. Last chance, guys. This thread is for dating advice and sharing dating stories. While gender roles, sociocultural norms, and our biological imperative to reproduce are all tangentially related, these subjects are not the main purpose of the thread. Please AVOID these discussions. If you want to discuss them at length, go to PMs or start a blog. If you disagree with someone's ideologies, state that you disagree with them and why they won't work from a dating standpoint and move on. We will not tolerate any lengthy derailments that aren't directly about dating. | ||

It is tough because I thought holy shit she likes me more than a friend with the way she acted around me. I will say I don't regret anything I did for her, or said. But I have to step back and take it day by day and not get ahead of myself, maybe find another love interest. Maybe it will work out with her or not I think it was pretty brave to tell a person I am good friends with that I have feelings for, risking everything our friendship is. But it is stressful just wondering about where I stand, can I do anything to win her heart, or get ahead of the other guys....so fuck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have other things to worry about right now, like studying for exams (last semester woot!). So once I am done studying for the day I am going to go play Diablo 3 or maybe go pick up the new Final Fantasy 13-3 and see how bad it is. (P.S thanks for letting me post this feels better to get it out of my system, maybe it will serve to remind me if I ever feel self doubt) | ||

So I went today. Bought my stuff and replicated a recipe. Totally gonna brag but it was excellent. My low cooking skills somehow paid off after 1 hour and a half of preparation(+ cook time) and girlfriend was in shock. Went all emo on me, crying, saying her heart could burst. Well yes, I guess it was that good. Even though I completely forgot to get some fire for the candle and it sat there the whole diner... unlit ! | ||

They were both scientists in Iran during the 70's and were able to gain American citizenship somehow because the US was in desperate need of scientists back then and the situation in Iran was getting ugly at the end of the decade. Mabye its just because im a white guy dating an middle eastern girl and they think im an infidel | ||
