While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. I had a relationship for 2.5 years with a girl which I liked to much, being the only reason for surviving this long. After the first date she kissed someone else but since we didn't have a relationship I accepted it and later on we dated again eventually having a relationship. During the relation she had a weakness for other boys that also looked attractive to her. Think this weakness usually showed up after a discussion (yes I am very good a discussing, which some people get irritated of even friends sometimes, but working on that hahah). During the relationship I broke up two times when later on she wanted me back. After 2.5 years still liking her a lot although she had this weakness (which I somehow was able to deal with mentally) she broked up with me and went with her best friend, both leaving a message for me: You are a great guy and will defenitely find the right one. Bullshit message in my eyes.
My friends called me crazy in a good way for surviving this way 2.5 years.
The good thing about these situations is that you learn a lot, and know how to deal better with this bullshit. Yeah for some shitty reason we have to deal with this bullshit, which in the past didn't happen as much as now (mean a generation before me). Why find some girls so hard to be loyal... Don't ask me! :D
I also think because of this situation I am for some reason a bit more strict before going into a relationship. And I also find it great to be single while waiting for a new date to occur :D

I once had a relationship for close to a year... Kinda crashed when I found out that this bitch had been getting several dicks on the side.. You don't have to, this is one of the situations where it is better to be the guy. I've had several situations where I could tell a girl wanted me to ask her out but I just wanted to be friends, so I just kept acting like a friend. I'd say 90% of girls out there will never ask a guy out for various reasons. Just friend zone her and the likelihood of anything awkward coming up is incredibly low.
