ssartor United States129 Posts September 28 2011 16:41 GMT #64 The reason some people sneeze from looking at bright lights is because the optic nerve runs very close to the nerve that trigger sneezing. So a sudden change in light my graze the other nerve and trigger a sneeze.

I do have rather intense environmental allergies (pollen, animal dander, etc) so yeah. Sometimes it's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or more. I can't say I've really sneezed 10 times in a row, but I have had sneezing fits and honestly, it feels crazy good when it is over. It's like an orgasm (although the process up to it was unpleasant). Never noticed if I have sneezed at bright lights, but I'm sure now some psychological effect will take place and I will end up doing it.

I hardly sneeze, but when I start sneezing it is usually upto 5-6 times over a period of a couple minutes. The bright light sneezing doesnt work for me.

muse5187 1125 Posts September 28 2011 18:05 GMT #80 2-2 times if it's just a regular sneeze from dust or whatever. Now if I eat chocolate or mint I will sneeze 5 or 6 times in a rapid succession. It sucks. When I have a sneeze that won't come out it is soooo annoying, I just look at the sun and it comes right out.
