I take the middle just because it sometimes seems to be the cleanest urinal. I always think to myself that people prefer the corners for the privacy but I personally don't care if a guy pisses next to me. I'm more concern about stepping on piss or using a dirty urinal in general.

honestly a different factor that is more important is this scenario:
You walk in and there's three urinals. 1st and 3rd and being used. Do you go and use the middle one?

What about if all 3 urinals have divides in between them so that when you do piss, you can't see another man's junk even through your peripherals?

Taking the wall-closest one in this case, but 1-3-5 order applies in almost every case. It's man programming, buggers who don't follow that just force awkwardness for the person trying to decide between standing nearer to person 1 and 4

I would just pick the cleanest out of all if it's empty. And If both coners are taken, I will just take the middle.

Urinals are there for a reason, if such thing is really frown upon, then toilets wouldn't be designed like this in the first place. You guys are just over paranoid.

It's like equivalent sitting on a bus or a train, if all the empty seats left were next to someone, you wouldn't sit down at all?
