There's an old Chinese expression that means "anything with its back pointed to the sky can be eaten". Though that does not apply to the majority of the people in modern times, you kinda see where it's coming from especially in times of war or intense poverty. I'm not sure if there's an equivalent expression in other asian cultures. As for looking the same.. sometimes lol. I mean, come on, his name was Columbus, not Colombus. Also I don't think the German stereotype was very accurate  It should be Overly Apologetic rather than wanting World Domination. I'm pretty sure you go to jail for expressing those sentiments in Germany. | ||
