Arazu/lachesis for nano longrange pointing and Proteus for heavy armor tackle and Thanatos/Nyx for dps.
Every other ship you see flown is because people want to be "different" and cool.

So you would recommend training more into Amarr/Minmatar atm? I know that Amarr would benefit more from my armour tank skills but Minmatar have their fair share of ships that can armour tank correct?

The Amarr ships we run are given a shield tank for the agility, speed, and damage that yields. There are very very few armor tanked ships we would bring with us. And when you fly nano ships like we do, you'll understand, and you'll feel so vulnerable and exposed in armor ships.

I'll commit to a fight if I've scouted them out and I'm 100% sure that we have more shit and can escalate beyond them, armour tank style. But it's not fun, it's completely pointless, just some guy donating you his mods. My problem with committing to a fight is that pilot skill is out of the equation, the winner is predetermined and the only reason the fight is even happening is that one side doesn't know that it's not going to be them (because you hid your fleet out of local etc). The beauty of nanoing is that you can attack pretty much anything and be fine because of pilot skill. The Hatchery has pretty limited ability to escalate so committing to fights is simply a bad idea. Also the angel cartel use projectiles which aren't terrible. It goes without saying they're exempt from the default Gallente suck.

Better option might even be to just auction your character off on eve forums and buy a different race one instead. There are alot of really stupid deals to be made on those forums if you are keen enough to look around frequently.

Myrms support is fine, especially when I was using it with a BC/HAC squad which is armour tanking. And logi 5 is obviously awesome to have. The oneiros has no role in any gang. Guardians for armour, basilisk for shield, scimitars for nano. Wow, did gallente get suddenly shit since I stopped playing? or does everyone just hate gallente for some reason? What would you use an oneiros for? It simply produces less reps than guardians (paired for cap stability). If you're in a blob then nothing compares to guardians/basilisks for pure RR volume and if mobility is an issue then you're shield tanked and using a scimitar. The ship just doesn't do anything. By the way, they're 96 million in Jita and 15 sold in the last 24 hours. By comparison the guardian is 120 million and sold over 50. It's not just us, it's the ship. Eccm projection. Some groups fly pods of 4 ships. 2 oneiros and 2 guardians. Guardians cap up each other and one oneiros and the oneiros projects eccm onto whatever ships you'd prefer not to have jammed. It may not have the repping power of 4 guardians but it adds a little versatility and gives a role to the oneiros. With this kind of setup you lose a large rr for a medium one and gain an eccm slot. Theres arguments for and against and its up to whoever leads the fleet to decide if they want to lose a bit of rep strength for unjammed ship potential.

It left me wondering how a bank in a world such as this can collect on what's owed. I'm aware there is a bounty system, are there people who will kill players and repossess their items? Short answer is it can't. There are no game mechanics that cater for it. Most "banks" are really investment type places taking your ingame currency and offering a return (then they all elope with the money once the sums become juicy enough ![]()
