So a random 3 day old guy in a executioner defies my bait condor which only has 1 rocket launcher to a 1v1, i instead get my griffin with 3 amarr jammer and flip his can, we start the 1v1 and hes perma jammed and going down (to 2 rocket launchers). However he betrays me and his friend starts shooting me in his rifter killing me in 10 seconds. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8746551 He then undocks in a mega and we get shit up, bump him off station, i hold point and slowly tear him down with scimi support, he neuts me empty but a cap scimmy undocks right in time to prevent me from losing point. After about 5 minutes the mega goes down, bumped 10km off station. During the fight he agressed several other guys that flipped his can/repped me. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8746686 136m for 600k, quite ok!

Again, people trying this terribad shit in emol. Word needs to go out, we own that system now. We don't go looking for this highsec griefing bullshit but people keep trying it on us, what are we meant to do.

I'm really quite surprised that anyone would think its a good idea to mission grief with an expensive ship like a fleetphoon--neut domi/scorp are far more reliable, or even a shieldcane, not to mention being 3-5 times cheaper. Pity it didn't have any pimp mods.
Good work with the natural selection and all.

I need motbob back, contract pvping isn't the same without him.

If you are in the fleet and are not scout or FC then you should mention in ts the following things if you know he is unaware of them; anything that is on your dscan, any local spikes, if you being attacked, if an order was unclear and you would like it to be repeated The FC shouldnt be unaware of these things, so you really shouldnt clog up comms with that.
Dont call what comes on scan, we can all see it Dont call local spikes, we can all see it Dont call that youre being attacked, we see it, if we dont see it then youve done something wrong (aka not following the fleet) so we dont give a shit If an order is unclear, yes you should ask BUT BUT, one very big thing I have been noticing with our ops lately is that EVERY SINGLE ORDER is repeated again and again (''jump gate'' --- ''ARE WE SUPPOSED TO JUMP GATE ?'' ---''warp to outgate'' ---'' ARE WE SUPPOSED TO WARP TO OUTGATE?'', if you cant hear the person correctly, raise the volume, dont ask for every single order given out.
Also, last but not least, this is mainly for scouts, yes, because youre the scout, you have the right to talk, and you SHOULD talk. Weve had a lot of scouts that didnt tell enough what was going on.
On the other side, Ive also seen some scout that would report everysinglelittledetailthatwouldeverhappen. Please use common sense, if you jump into a 100 man gatecamp, you dont need to ask if you should gatecrash, use your time to tell more useful things to people. If you jump in a system with one local and theres a ship that you know you can tackle that just jumped before you, and you know your fleet is right behind, you dont need to ask what you should do, odds are the moment when you could have tackled is already gone, use your judgement. (aka dont tackle if theres 56789 in local or if you know youll get slaughtered before we get there)

Ok i will change that - i suppose that the FC should cover all that. I appretrate all the comments so far guys - i was prolly not the best person to write the guide but better one that not one.

Im guilty of this most of the time. Kwark's mic is terrible. I have him singled out on TS with +6db.

Thanks for the putting my guide in the OP kwark but you may need to update is cos ive changed it alot as people have got lots of improvements for it, i expect its ok now tho. unless anyone else want to add. ;-)

Don't worry, people don't even read past the first paragraph unfortunately. Your guide will be fine as is.

I'm really curious about starting up, but i don't have a massive amount of time at the moment and i have a fear of 3rd party modding things, despite studying computer science as a major
I was wondering whether it would be worth getting a trial and trying to figure it all out, how active is the TL corp and how must time per day is necessary to be successful?

What third party thing mods stuff for eve??
How active you are depends on what you want to do. If you just pop in for a few hours a week to do some missions/roam thats fine, since your still training even when your not playing. Eve has a giant learning curve, but you can do a lot for yourself by reading and mucking around with certain programs (see my post in the op : D)
Make a 14 day trial and get into game, go through the tutorial and just poke around and join SCBW in game
