Fuck eve.
I've had similar issues. Determined it was something with weapon grouping but I can't recreate the issue/solution enough to petition it to a dev. Something is wrong with it, though.
May have something to do with weapon grouping and how loading is functioning.

I also hope that CCP will stop the sales eventually out of greed because they're costing themselves $ by selling plex for less.
It's also a little bit of an issue that you can't really move 1200 plex, even if you want to. If I right click sold the price in jita would go down to about 3m.
I imagine CCP will always have PLEX on sale. It's more expensive to PLEX to subscribe than actually subscribing and it's pure profit for CCP. Marginal costs of another person playing EVE has to be close to 0 for them. It's possible that someone hoarding and dumping the market all at once might be a bump, but I can't imagine it'd be a big one.

It could be somewhat similar to a drug dealer sales strategy: first hit is free(in this case cheap).
The discount may cause some players that normally wouldn't purchase plex to do so. When they get that sweet, sweet wallet injection for almost no effort, they'll want that feeling again, only there won't be a sale, etc etc.

I'm considering putting my stack of plex to work with another 50 accounts which would naturally make sick returns because making characters to sell always does and would have the additional bonus of giving me another 50 CSM votes which will be fun. If you assume that nullsec blobs are rational actors then training towards basic sentry chimeras would offer huge returns because that is the current best possible fleet and represents what is becoming the generic tech fuelled blob. It might even be possible to make them and then contact several nullsec entities and auction the fleet off as a whole as 50 characters represents the ability to have an archon to chimera switch overnight based around them as a core which is the ideal situation for a goons or test. On the other hand, the chimera has been superior for a year or so now and goonswarm are still subsidising people training into archons because archons are what they do so the starting assumption is clearly wrong. Also if CCP nerf the slowcat then it'll all be for nothing.
Thoughts? For reference I already have a lot of moros/generic pvp toons training.

Gonna take a month break from eve soon. March 5th is Simcity and I'll be playing that nonstop owning leader boards with my superior decesion making- determined to be #1 with a close knit group of friends who were able to dominate SC4 with me. Then I'll make the switch to HOTS and prepare for Blizzcon 7, though I doubt i'll be able to compete with anyone above Master League
The one good thing about playing casual games--- you can be a god. Switch back to a real game and you just became a pawn
Ugh. Big fish small pond syndrome.

Wait what, Kwark wants CSM votes, what

I just petitioned CCP for them to grant me access to my old WG toon collection, with those I'm at well over 200 votes.

It's a bit odd since there any many catigories to choose from, but i'm sure the biggest comp will be income per hour or total population. I'm working in a 5 man region with the center being my population base and will use the surrounding cities to create worker demand, once I get the region squared away, i'll be pouring my efforts into the population hub, simple enough strategy--hopefully i'll be quick enough. I wish I had more time in Beta to dig into the region mechanics more.

For the past few months, I've been having to deal with consistent lag spikes in my wireless connection. These lag spikes are consistent enough that I haven't been able to get into BW like I had hoped to. Recently, I have learned that these internet issues are something that aren't going to be going away soon, so I'm looking for something else to get into while I fix my shit. Considering where I'm posting this, I think you guys know what I'm hoping to get into. There are problems, though. If you guys don't mind, I'll be needing some questions answered so that I know if I can get into EVE.
1. The lag spikes. At their worst, everything is unplayable. Normally, though, they last for a few seconds and happen every 30 seconds to a minute. I also get dropped occasionally. What parts of EVE are rendered unplayable by conditions such as these? I know that PvP is most likely going to be a no-go, especially group PvP ("Oh we lost point." "Why the hell did we lose point?" *AnachronisticAnarchy has been disconnected from channel* "...Fuck."), but what other things can I do and still have a reasonable amount of fun?
2. Already tried picking up EVE once before a few months back and had... Mandini I think cash out on me subscribing after I took part in the buddy program thingy. Too bad that was around the time I decided Tribes: Ascend was the fucking best FPS I had ever played ever. Since I didn't finish getting educated on EVE, do I have to make another one of those trial accounts to get re-involved in the mentor program? If so, how do I go about doing this? Same way I did before?

I agree with your statement. I think that the drop in plex prices is temporary, and they will start rising again. Might take a lot of time, but that's what it takes to speculate on that kind of things.

Decided to read the eve reddit for a bit.
Sometimes you can actually make more Isk through lp by blitzing lvl 3s than doing lvl 4s. Just saying
Nope.

Eve reddit is hilarious.
On another note, sold my link character and now have more liquid ISK than I have ever had before. Now I just need to find something new to do with it as I think I am tired of character trading. Forums are too busy these days.

Might not be a terrible idea.

I don't think they'll be stopping the sales anytime soon

So I'm dominating a game as Naix when my router has a heart attack and I eventually come back (with abandon) to discover that Aeth has sold literally all of my items and our Earthshaker has gone full carry mode while constantly berating our Derpzzle.
