MMOs need a huge breath of fresh air. i cant stand them either anymore. the timesinks (even in wow, dare you to ever play any asian grinders..) are just stupid and at one point since usually "skill" is almost irrelevant in a mmo they just become spreadsheets with chat. maybe guildwars2 or old republic will be able to take the genre to the next level. if not.. then i guess i wont get into a mmo anytime soon again. tho my expectations for old republic arent that high anymore. ive heard alot of voices that said they were unimpressed with what they saw so far. and if i understand things correctly they mostly played/saw the early stages of the game. sure that usually are the most boring stages but at the same time with their story approach it should be the part of the game where they have full control and can show off so this should be awesome. meh time will tell. | ||

Mike b from gamebreaker says he loved it, a big number of people who have actually played it and not liked it have shown a complete disconnect from being an mmo player so my hopes are still high. | ||

It looks pretty damn good for the stage its currently in if you ask me. I love how the quests have the regular KOTOR element to them. Really looking forward to seeing how the group quests work. This game will be completely different than wow if it has a compelling story while you level up. | ||

This is a starting zone and its combat looks finely polished. The wow combat system is fluid and enjoyable. Look at Rift which also borrowed from it and the success it shares. | ||

Hahahaha! That has to be a fake! Its too hilarious! It really looks like someone had a few free weeks and developed a Star Wars MOD for WoW - from the inventory and items to the skillbar to the combat - its exactly the same! They said they would revoIutionize the MMO-genre. I really hope they get flamed by the community for this ripoff. Having said that, it will be a succesfull game , just because of the Star Wars franchise.... | ||
