If you are planning on being a guild leader in The Old Republic, I'd get started as soon as possible. There are already more than 2,700 Republic and 3,500 Empire guilds created, so get in there and grab your guild name before it disappears.

http://www.swtor.com/guilds?sourceid=eag2985 You don't have to wait until launch to create or join a guild in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. With our three-phased Pre-Launch Guild Program, you have the opportunity to find a group now that suits your play style, or if you prefer to start your own guild, you can reserve your preferred guild name and begin recruiting members to join your cause. When the game launches, you will have the opportunity to transfer your guild directly into the game. All guilds that meet certain criteria will be imported into the game.* To learn what a guild is and why you should join, visit the Guilds Game Systems page.

I was overly excited for it at first, but the more gameplay videos I saw of it, the less I wanted to play it. Maybe I'll test it out and change my mind, but I'm not hyped about this like I was a year ago

I keep thinking they will polish it up but it hasn't seemed to happen so far... I don't know. If you look at WoW's initial battleground trailers they were pretty boring too. Seeing a warrior and a paladin stand there and whack each other wasn't very inspiring. But, I too would like to see what combat looks like in the hands of someone who will move while attacking, especially a melee character.

Would instabuy a KOTOR3 on the otherhand. I hate grinding too, but I think this game is more of a classic BioWare game that just happens to be multiplayer. I mean, every single line is fully voice acted! Definitely going to give this a chance when it comes out.

Right, ok. | ||

I think the assumption is that they're spending enough effort on all the quests/missions to make them actually worth completing just for the sake of progressing through the story (like any other single player game). Whether they can actually pull that off remains to be seen, but BioWare does have a pretty good track record...

The combat itself seems so wooden and slow, at least from what they've shown so far.
