The graphics would be low because of the massive amounts of stuff that would be happening on a player's screen at one time.

You can say "Well it's bioware so the game is going to be fucking awesome anyway" I do not share the same enthusiasm. I would have done years ago because Bioware used to be fucking awesome, but a lot of their later release such as KoTR 2, Jade Empire, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age have been pretty poor in my opinion. Maybe even NWN 2 as well. I tried playing that, really wanted to like that but I couldn't even make it that far because it was so dreadfully boring.

JE, ME2, and DAO were hits both critically and commercially. ME2 was especially well-loved since it improved on ME's combat by leaps and bounds. You disliking these puts you in a very tiny minority, really.

And ojka, KOTOR 2 wasnt even Bioware, and I seriously disagree with the hate on their recent RPG titles.. they certainly have their flaws but imo they are some of the best RPG's released this decade.

And I don't believe the combat was improved that much. It was faster paced and a lot cleaner but the abilities were implemented poorly. If I'm a sentinel where I have both Tech and Force(?) powers, why are they on the same cooldown? Why are any of the abilities on global cooldowns? If I change my ammo, I have to wait before I can do anything. The reason I would play a Sentinel would be so I can blast my enemies into oblivion with my powers. I think it's poor that I can shoot off an Overload and not follow up with a Force power and instead of to rely on my pistol. My class is dedicated to this and the only thing I get out of it is having two sets of abilities is for convenience sake, in which I could easily pick a squad member to fill that required role for me. There also doesn't seem to be much use in the different weapons. I can snipe with a pistol, I can do pretty much anything with it. The only reason I tended to change gun in ME2 was because I would keep running out of ammo. The pistol that you pick up which is better than your first one I couldn't use because it had such a low ammo capacity. Most fire fights I would have to switch it before it went completely empty so I would just stick to the *only other pistol* available. Combat may have been easier to manage but it was far less entertaining firing the same sets of gun over and over again. I didn't like DAO. I would get to points in the game and enemies would just constantly respawn for god knows how long. "Looks like these guys were ambushed by some wolves" "hmm...better be careful for a pack of wolves..." *some wolves approach* "HAVE AT YOU" *fight* *more wolves approach* *fight...* *more* *fi...* *more* *fuughh* Little did I realise that there was seemingly a faction of wolves on the planet that could send out entire armies that would pop out in a field... Replace wolves with enemy x a few times and there you go... Just failed to hold my interest in general really, which is a shame because I thought it would be real good.

Why does a spaceships even need ribs and arms? where is the logic and functionality in that?

First, thank you to all of you who participated in our Comic-Con Reveal mission! While we didn't quite make the numbers, we definitely saw how excited the community is about this and how everyone came together. After all of that, there's no way we could hold back with our special reveal at Comic-Con! If you’ve been following the news coming out of the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ panel at Comic-Con International, you’ve heard the announcement that we will indeed have Space Combat as part of the TOR experience! But what does that mean? Space combat is an alternative gameplay experience to the primary game of storytelling, questing, and ground-based combat. In space combat, you fly your personal ship to various “hot spots” on your galaxy map. From there, you will blast your way through asteroid fields, enemy fighters, frigates, destroyers, and a variety of other obstacles that will evoke memories of some of the great Star Wars™ space battles. To learn more, pick up the October 2010 edition of PC Gamer which hits newsstands starting August 17th for screenshots and an exclusive interview or check back with us in the weeks to come.

http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/12/15/hands-on-with-swtors-jedi-knight-on-tython/ It's getting more and more exciting. I got to do a short beta test and I agree with this article here.

I look foward to playing the Trooper class. Hopefully PvP isn't a joke in this game tho.

The trooper class was great, but I enjoyed the smuggler class more. For comparison, the trooper class felt like a mix of arcane mages and hunters from wow. I really like the reload system. The smuggler class felt like a ranged rogue which is awesome. I think they thought about pvp really early. All the classes have stuns, instants and ways to disengage. I think at the lower levels, ranged are extremely powerful because of their stuns, but i'm sure at higher levels it will even out once everyone gets all their abilities. I'm really trying to think of any things I didn't like and the only thing that comes to mind is how big the first dungeon area is. It's huge. If you've played wow, its like gnomeragon in vanilla wow its so big. Oh, I really like the questing stuff though, the whole quest system is much more intuitive and fun than most wow quests, plus the interaction really connects you to the story and your character. Even stupid little quests like killing a bunch of rats had a story behind it and yet it didn't feel tedious. I hope i get invited again, i left a ton of feedback on the tester forums.
