initiate with your sword throw into a cluster of their heroes and ult, it does wonders and lets your team follow you into the battle

your words are truth, and sometimes i find myself falling victim to that myself haha

worst thing about maliken is hitting q twice due to lag

or coming out of a stun and spamming your q to try and get out but end up blinking an inch away
same with bubbles. DAT PANIC MODE.

Her staccatto stun is ridiculously annoying, disco inferno is the ultimate pushing tool, her ulti is golden, and her passive can be super powerful lategame. i say this having played rhapsody last night a couple of times, and despite getting killed tons of times, and never getting a single kill, I hugely affected so many team fights. My q alone saved multiple teamates multiple times. Rhapsody is hands down the best support in the game. Her disco inferno skill is pretty broken; and if you are semi competent her ult is insane! I played a rhapsody jera combo the other day; it was pretty hilarious. He just used repel until i got a shrunken and we hardly had any deaths in a team fight. I think her disco inferno is the only really 'broken' part of it; it needs a nerf big time. And i don't think i agree with "let supports get the early cs" - from my experience supports get the majority of their gold from assists on ganks; a creep kill here and there is obviously fine but i'd prefer my carry hitting core items sooner
I don't agree at all.
She's definitely good with the right lineup, combined with other pushing heroes. Other than that, I'll take DS or Andro over her pretty much any day.
Comet = Staccato (Staccato getting better with higher level, Comet being better at level 1), Aurora = Disco Inferno (situational), Andro's aura > Rhap's aura, Swap > Rhap's ulti.
The problem with channeling spells is that they rely so much on positionning, and they rely on your enemies being unable to save their stuns/focus target you basically, so they generally scale poorly with skill level.

And then the other team chainstuns the shit out of you and kill you before you can even pop your BKB, or simply bring you low enough to be able to autoattack you down when you finally bkb.
Seriously, thats a very very bad idea. It sounds good on paper, but its not going to work against competent people.
As for rhapsody, she is definately one of the strongest support hero by far. Id pick her over dsham any day of the week, but I wouldnt pick her over and andro anytime, I think that really depends on the lineup. (push centric = rhap, gank centri = andro, carry centric = andro)
|
Here's the thing with Andro, she's also really good with pushing strats. Her aura is an underrated pushing tool, applying +30% damage to all creeps, Aurora also helps clearing creep waves in 2 seconds.
Her only big weakness I can see is if she's played as a babysitter, obviously she can't harass for shit.

Rhap can lane pretty well with someone who can hold for a long time. Poly/Elec for a long on hold on floor with nukes from both after the hold is over. Then on top of that you have you and your creep wave are being healed, and their creep wave is dying so when it's over they have creeps chasing them. It's not omg amazing but it does work ok. I don't think her ulti is as strong as people make it out to be, it's just too situational. Although situationally it is a game changer like many other heroes. I can see how Jere + Rhap is an awesome combo.

When to bkb is going to be situational and vary mostly depending on their heroes. Most teams can't actually stunlock and burst a farmed maliken down (given decent positioning), but a few can. Fortunately those teams tend to be filled with squish and generally at least 1-2 can be killed before bkb wears off. (Pyro witchslayer polly tb mag is an example of a team that I would bkb against at the beginning rather than end).

Maliken strat aka S2 true story.

thats why we go into teamfights at <10% hp so we can get the full dmg AND use bkb immediately
jeez why did nobody think of THAT

Der, that's why you get insanitarius, so you can kill yourself to 10% ready for any fight. Like the good old let Roshan kill you to 10% and go ganking in enemy forest with terrorblade strat.

If Terrorblade made a mistake he'd be errorblade.
and if Terrorblade lost all his hair he'd be Terrorbalde
