The communication doesn't get that much better except for LAN teams (One reason why China is so dominant). People just tend to know where to ward and counter gank, but honestly most of the top carries on "pro" American / Euro teams don't actually have great map awareness or communication. Their supports often do. So true for our team :D Well, our carries got map awareness but that doesn't prevent them from sometimes not notice missing heroes. Also, our supports call misses even if everyone see them. Constant communation is always a good thing. If it's discussing items, calling misses, reciting game plan, map movement or just keeping up the spirit. You can never communicate too much, as long as everyone can hear everything that's being said.

Smaller payment increments (even if the overall cost for a given bundle of goods is higher) allow customers to exercise their purchasing power with more precision. Oftentimes people don't buy a bundle of goods not because every unit of the bundle is priced over their utilities, but rather because only a few of the goods in the bundle are priced higher than marginal utility. It is precisely these deals that the microtransaction model facilitates and that the P2P model foregoes. F2P may not be able to save HoN, but I certainly do not think it will hurt.
