What do you mean by just a Cryo Diluc? A Cryo Diluc would be amazing since pyro is far more available for melts than hydro is for vaporize. But Eula is nothing like Diluc. Unlike Ganyu who can be described as Cryo Amber, Eula's abilities are nothing like Diluc's, and Eula burst skill is Physical anyways. Eula is more like Cryo Razor.
Anyways about Twisted Domain, I didn't have any difficulty with them. I was able to 5k them easily. It's nothing compared with floor 11 or 12 abyss. Especially since you only need 1 team, not 2. I went ahead and 7k some of them just to see if I could. The most important reward is the primogems which you get just from beating them at the easiest difficulty, which is easier than killing them in the open world. If you had trouble, you could had used food or friends.
Xinqiu and Bennett are easily the two best 4* support characters. With them together I can't imagine why you would have any difficulty with Twisted Domain, no matter what dps characters you are using. If you have five +20 artifacts with them and they don't seem to be doing much, the problem would be the mainstats and substats you have chosen for them. As well as the weapon. Post your character builds and we can see.
Ganyu doesn't operate beyond most enemies effective range. Most enemies that matter either have a powerful ranged or leap attack and/or are extremely fast moving or can teleport next to you. Plus it takes 2 seconds to charge up and any interrupts stops the charge up. Not like you can run whilst charging up either. And space is limited in abyss. The most useful characters is Venti and Zhongli. They are both characters you will nearly always use. Honestly I can't see how mobile players can play without a Venti or Zhongli to disable enemies.
She's not even a 5* Razor because her damage doesn't really come from her autoattacks. She's really about building up the stacks for that ginormous ult nuke (physical damage). Very backloaded damage.
Which I think is cool... at least they're trying out different types of damage characters so we're not just getting oonga boonga DPS characters every time.

She's not valid in every context, but like Venti, she has a niche that she is very good at. In any fight where she is allowed range or permafreeze, she effectively dominates. This is very apparent versus bosses, since many are immobile or barely mobile.
Zhongli is the true all rounder. Shields, shred, damage, cc... it's kinda absurd.
That signature weapon for Eula is off the charts! It has like 20% more raw damage than Wolf's (Base 608, 49,6% ATK)
Base Attack Additional Stat 741 (Lvl. 90) Physical DMG Bonus 20.7%
Passive + 16% ATK + 12% ATK SPD and another 20% ATK for 12sec Then 20 sec cooldown
A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases ATK by 16%, and when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, the character gains a Sigil of Whispers. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s.
When you possess four Sigils of Whispers, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" increases Normal ATK SPD by 12% and increases ATK by 20%.
Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement, " buffs of the same type will not stack.
I imagine a Eula + Fischl (C6) team will destroy everything that doesn't have particular shields
EDIT: Anyone have Trust rank 8 already? how does this work? do you get double the moneys?
EDIT2: How is your experience with the windward event these days? First day I won easily as hunter. Now everyone knows the dirty tricks and when I'm hunter I just afk it. Well, as Rebel I afk it, too. But in a tree xD
Eww, clickbait youtube videos. Strange thing happened to me yesterday. A random guy joined my world without having to ask permission. Turns out that for whatever reason, the game changed my world permissions to allow direct join. Anyways, he wanted the co-op wolf achievement so I went to his world to do co-op Wolf since I had already done mine in his world and then he went to his teapot, which apparently kicks me out of his world. Even though I been in worlds where the host disconnects and the game just keeps on going till the host reconnects. So I decided to ask to check out his teapot.
He had the most amazing teapot I had ever seen. His house where you spawned had a beautiful Liyue courtyard, with a long rocky tunnel made from rocks that lead to an underground cavern with a woodlog cabin with table and chairs. And a single bamboo just so you can easily climb out through the hole in the roof of the cavern to a nice scenic location. To think, I just dump everything outside randomly.
I doubt the game with give you more currency when you get other realms. Surely it must all be shared otherwise you'll end up getting more rewards to spend.

Lol, same. My teapot looking like a real Benny's Adventure Team Hideout right now.
I'm always amazed how creative people can be with decorating. I like fashion and putting together a nice set of armor/gear but that's where I draw the line myself. I can't decorate for shit, nor do i have the spacial awareness or planning to do so. My FFXIV guild told me to buy a room (which I was OK with, it didn't cost that much) at the FC mansion, but I never decorated it. Some people wanted to help me out andget started so they donated a bunch of stuff and I got like a red carpet and a bed now xD can't be arsed to put anything else in. Same story with Warframe housing. I just can't do it. So to me it's just all the more impressive when people show off their godlike mansion that legit look better than liyue or mondstadt themselves.
My teapot is just the main building (without any furniture inside) and that 1 random-ass building they made me build for the quest... legit nothing else.

Only the realm with the most stuff in it counts. So you can't go over 30/hr.
The teapot actually gives you a decent amount of freedom to place stuff, but it ultimately sucks because of how the systems interact. Gaining rank is important because unlocks are gated behind it. To gain rank you have to buy blueprints and construct them. To gain coins you have to place items.
A nice teapot has a theme, which typically means you need a bunch of duplicate items. You can do that... but it'll come at the cost of progression, as the optimal path is to spend coins on blueprints, make one of everything, and place all the mismatching stuff. It would've made a lot more sense if you got rank automatically from buying blueprints.

It's almost an okay prop hunt clone when you're the rebel. Being hunter sucks a lot.
I like it but because of the way rank and coins work realistically you have to clear out everything first before you really get the freedom to set stuff up, or you sacrifice rank and such for looks off the get-go but my head doesn't work that way.
Also it wasn't clickbait - that was Tony To, but obviously he plays a different game than most people. He's still gunning for that 5M hit per theorycraft but here's how high he got on release day:
30 per hour is still 720 per day, still gives you a fair amount of stuff to be honest. 90 would probably be overkill.
Tony To spends a lot but he chases world record damage and speed runs for shits and giggles so it is what it is. I just find his stuff hilarious because it really stretches the upper limits of the game mechanics. His powerpoint video above about how he math'd out potentially up to a 5m damage hit was funny, and then he backed it up with a 4.37m on release day with the ominous '5m is coming' lol.
This is probably a more realistic view of her damage.
Yes I get it, you really want to bring attention and talk about your favourite youtubers. Clickbait is still clickbait no matter how much you enjoy consuming it. People play the game for fun, not as a job to attract as much attention as possible for money. That's why you formed the wrong impression about her playstyle.
Most of Eula's damage will come from the autoattacks. Even during the elemental burst attack the autoattacks end up doing 60-75% of the damage that would add to the lighfall sword itself assuming equal talent levels. Just as people can't or don't do 1 million damage Childe or Mona bursts, most players can't or don't play with gigantic Eula bursts. Realistically, the elemental burst will only do about 25-50% of the total damage, and that is if it hits and is used every time it is available. Eula's gameplay is very finickity. Even with the massive healthpools in abyss, you might be holding off activating the elemental burst saving it for a better time.
If anyone does get Eula and is wondering whether to get 4P Pale Flame or 2P bloodstained 2P Pale Flame, remember that it is impossible to have 4P Pale Flame active all the time, even with C2. 25% of the time it will be inactive even if all you do is tap E.
Except that's not true because the percentages on her ult vastly outperform the percentage on her autoattacks given her attackspeed and the inherent resistance disadvantage of physical damage. It's only if you assume you miss the ult (part of the problem of backloaded/uncontrollable damage) that it ceases to be effective, but at that point her autoattacks don't do enough damage to make her a 'viable' dps compared to other powerhouses. She relies heavily on that ult to actually perform at a 5* level. And so the impression came true - she is inferior to all but Razor as a physical DPS via autoattacks, and as Tony said, she's not so good for F2P players and more a damage record toy for whales.
Most people don't do 1m damage Mona ults but without the ability to do hefty nukes with her ult she does not bring sufficient value anymore. While record damage numbers on her ult are meme and funny, the math and the theorycraft about the value she brings without her ult are very true, and it's why her usage rate in Abyss 12 speak for itself. That's not about playing the game for fun vs. for money, that's just how her kit works at this point. It's the same 'problem' with Eula, who's literally just not worth taking without building around that ult and building up stacks for that ult. If you really want a physical dps without Eula's ult, IIRC frankly even Xiangling with a Crescent Pike outperforms her based purely off percentages and the power of the Crescent Pike.
You may not like it because it's coming from people who pay for the gacha with their analysis and the likes, but the effort for cold hard math is the effort for cold hard math. That's why some of us actually listen to people instead of complaining about not being spoonfed information for free.
------
on an unrelated note, jeez it's gonna still take another like 11 days to finish buying the blueprints from the shop.
Man, doing abyss Floor 12 with Eula is like...everything dodges your elemental burst when the sword drops. Whopperflowers, Cicin mages, Pyro agents, it's like whack a mole. You talk about cold hard maths but clearly you have been fooled if you think Eula's damage is mostly from the elemental burst...Whatever the case, a C6 r5 weapon player is not representative of the vast majority of players.
You guys think they'll make it undodgeable? It's pretty bad when enemies can just side-step your burst LOL.
It's 1 thing when I miss my burst with Diluc because the shitty plant went underground during the 2s animation, and it's a whole 'nother thing when it's above ground and it just dabs on you with a side-step.
Add up the autoattack %s and compare to ult %s. Her kit is designed to land the nuke. Her damage otherwise is sort of shit. You are conflating "most of her reliable damage comes from her underwhelming autoattacks because I can't make sure her ult hits" vs. "her kit is designed to do more damage with her autoattacks because her ult is unreliable". Her ult on full proc does roughly a roughly 6000% phys/cryo nuke when at a realistic stack count, which on its own out-performs Xiao's entire ult rotation (albeit with the caveat that most of its damage is physical, to which most enemies have high resistances). Her autoattacks at talent 10 do an average of like 180% and don't get infused with an element like Diluc. That is a colossal difference. To quote David Mitchell, we've told you the information and at some point you will accept it.
I don't know if they'll make it undodgeable - I think they just need to let you proc it early if need be or something, maybe as a second press of the ult button. It's mostly the uncontrollable that's the problem. It feels great when it hits though - giant-ass damage numbers.
Talks about maths and telling the information, but doesn't actually work out the maths. Do you actually have Eula? Have you actually played with her? Probably not judging from your assumptions. The elemental burst being unreliable an requiring a long lead time and set up means that you will neccessarily be saving it for best circumstances, not just throwing it out whenever you have the energy. Which in Abyss tends to be right at the start.
The elemental burst is powerful, but at the point you can do 5 million damage you can killed everything beforehand because your other attacks will be doing at least a million damage in 20 seconds anyways, enough to kill everything. Everything ignoring shields, but it's not like the lightfall sword can damage through shields either.
A full proc involves 30 hits in 7 seconds, a tall order when most of the time you can only hit max 3 enemies at once. Not a realistic stack count, which you keep insisting it is. Claymores tend to knock enemies back so you'll need some serious crowd control, which not everyone will have available. Lets assume talent 10. (Which btw means normal attacks can only be talent 8 max at this point in time due to boss material scacity.) Lightfall sword would be 725.45%. Every stack is +142.48%. Even accounting for max 30 stacks so 725.45+30*148.24=5172.76%. So where do you get 6000% from?
And to put that in perspective, roughly speaking in that 7s time period you would be doing as a low point assuming hold E and a full round of auto attacks (inefficient in terms of hits but whatever). The autoattacks that add to the lighfall stack are doing a similar amount of damage that is being added to the lightfall stack itself.
442.08+172.8*2=787.68 Cryo damage 725.56/2= 362.78 Phys damage from half lightfallsword
So 362.78+1093.54 = 1456.32 Phys damage alone in that 7s
Which is 28% of the ultimate in terms of just Phys damage during the charge up phase, but when everything is being knocked back, jumping, digging, blinking, charging all around your characters you will rarely get 30 stacks anyways. 28% is just the minimum and that's just during the charge up phase. And before you mention it, just about everything that buff lightfall sword, (except noblesse buff I think), will also affect the phys damage. More realistically you will get 10-20 hits which will serverly lessen your numbers.
To quote David Mitchell, we've told you the information and at some point you will accept it.
I have Eula. I routinely do 150-250k damage with her burst and I haven't even bothered setting up proper artifacts/team comps for her. This makes up for Eula's inability to convert her autoattacks, so while she does a good 5-15k on each hit, it holds no cup of tea to Hu Tao's 50k damage charge attack spam during her skill uptime (which shits out overall superior damage numbers than Eula on maximized CD ults with more reliability = why Hu Tao is broken-tier for DPS and Eula is, as Tenten said, "fine").
Here is my mostly F2P friend's Eula. 325k damage.
This is how her kit works. You can ignore that her ult is the vast majority of her damage and act like she can compete with other characters while ignoring it, or you eventually you will accept that she is simply flat-out inferior to even Razor without that ult connecting. You can complain about how unreliable the ult is do to the difficulty of landing it, but trying to argue that this ginormous nuke is not what her kit is about is ridiculous.
Also, no one said 30, we said realistic, which should be around 12 stacks at with everything running off cooldown (burst into attacks and consuming two brands). 724*(1+(.4824*12)) = 4915% physical
Granted talent 10, but this shit scales like crazy along with the phys res down from the brand (which lasts 7 seconds).
I will say I personally forgot the skill itself does damage that doesn't scale with itself, so that's a 400->2000 scale off the initial hit that I miscalculated. Either way, close to 5000% remains a bigger nuke than anyone else in the game, including Mona. And it doesn't force you to stop autoattacking. So yes, we should ignore this crazy huge hit and act like it's not a major part of her kit. I agree. I hear Mona is really good without her ult too.
Damn I did the teapot thing completely wrong! There is no reason to waste coins buying the adeptal speed bottles past 20k Energy at all. I always thought I had to get to 60k Apedptal energy to get all 3 realms maxed but when you get a second realm it dupes all your existing furniture. I could be almost Trust rank 9 already had I known that
Imma skip Eula, but she could be nice with Venti right? Venti E Q -> Eula Q -> hit multiple targets that cant dodge for 7 seconds -> profit
